It might have been a lil better if they weren't all oiled up so much.

Title should have read VP of MS instead of just Matrick, I thought he was some sort of analyst. Obviously each exec says their own products are better and provides their own biased justifications for it. This happens for all three consoles, when did this become news anyone?

Maybe we just need a Deals channel for these kinds of news.

Oh crap, I've been able to resist all the MMOs on PC so far, but these ones on the PS3 may be a little more difficult. If the subscription is free for the game as it is for PSN, then I might just give it a try...

I liked the old deal of a free Blu Ray remote and copy of Uncharted better.

A good read for any potential PSP owners and a must-read for all PSP owners.

Why in the world did you approve of this then? I hope its not because you thought we could then see your comments, succumb to them, and finally begin regretting in despair.

Besides, if you are talking about graphics that PS3 can provide, it's already been proven to be more than worthy by the current games. Those graphics are pretty good and the game won't be released until Q2 2008, so it can only improve until then. Now if you are talking about Japanese cultured games, I reall...

Jeez my friend at UMass just sold his with four controllers to someone on campus for $380, he could have made a killing if he sold it to these people. There goes the kids' college funds...

I can't wait until I get back home to play it over break.

I like in game messaging but I can do without the in-game XMB if it means they can reduce the XMB memory usage to improve game performance for future games.

This news seems to complement the other article about Blu Ray's momentum in AU.

If you only listened to what you wanted to hear, I guess see where you drew your conclusions from.

It would seem the only thing that rivals your ability to time travel is your utter bias against Sony and the PS3. I kind of like these flame baits, you always catch the loudest ones first.

So the HD-DVD seemed to have abandoned AU for the time being to concentrate on US and EU, which shows from the delay of their biggest exclusive Transformers. It's amazing the low number of standalone sales there compared to the PS3s.

It was a risky move for them, but it seems like its finally starting to pay off for them and us owners couldn't be happier.

True, but if there are two big giants, they must compete with one another which is always good for the consumers. When AMD and Intel had the price war, I remember some really ridiculously low priced CPUs.

Though I don't think WB will make any decisions until after this year, this shows an example of how certain movie studios can take full advantage of the PS3 user base. Disney has been thinking of creating a developer studio, so why not make PS3 games and bundle them with a Disney or Pixar Blu Ray movie? Though I haven't been sold on the whole synergy thing, I do see opportunities that are just waiting for these corporations.

No, I'm simply disagreeing with the way you appear everywhere that you are not wanted. If you really think the PS3 is just a Blu Ray player, you sure are going out on a limb against it, did Blu Ray slay your HD-DVD add-on or something? As much as I value the opinions of others, there is a time and place for constructive arguments, but there is never a time for these mindless rantings of yours.

Some of my favorite studios are going to be affected by this merger: Blizzard, Infinity Ward, Massive Entertainment, Red Octane, and Sierra. I hope this will simply make sure EA doesn't dominate the gaming industry.

Oh jeez, just how many of these debate/analysis articles are there going to be? They always go through the same argument and comes to the same neutral conclusion. And when they don't, they leave out information and bias their entire article.
