“Looks” are only as good as how fresh the game feels.

Tetris can look great in 4k with solid frames.. but it is still the same rudimentary game engine from yesteryear.

I get it.. people defend it with “but that is what halo is”.. cool.

Let’s compare it to the dune movies..
One looks dated. Will always look dated.
The new one is gorgeous for the time. Will it age well? Unknown…
But to attract a newer larger bas...

@christopher
Kind of a funny comment since the elite 2 controller got a mandated extended warranty due to massive complaints/issues with both versions..

As in, they are broke and need fixed

They had pc gaming for as long as they have been in gaming…
They dissolved the pc brand division most likely due to redundancy.

Well… when Microsoft’s market share dipped so bad last gen, it is easy to say growth in a launch year.

And a sold ps5 is still a sold ps5

You do not “legally” own any game.
I am not defending the practice… but the rights to play vs owning was way before destiny.
Bungie was just the first to make it a reality.

The game engine destroys the dated halo..
There are faults no doubt.. but even infinite looks like a 6 year olds drawing of what destiny is per gameplay.
The poorly animated grapple, dome.. shields.. there is a reason it is free and it is not “kindness”
it is a joke even compared to cod of which its core engine is from 1998

They have not focused on games in a decade… and what they did release was niche per the what was being offered by the competitors.
They are printing money. That is it.
If you do not want vr to be niche, you support it. Pure and simple.
If Microsoft was not so burrowed into the media aspect to paint a positive light to be an equal product, then the reality would be a niche gaming console with mainstream AAA games available.
The issue with vr games for Micro...

Say that to the players that are hearing your game audio. 😂

Well.. this is all hypothetical.
Microsoft stopped reporting numbers after their initial launch sales.
This an estimated average based on collected data from picked resources.

The rational is due to the info they gather from the long era of classes…
No matter what, the majority of casuals that spend that money ignore the fundamentals of teamwork and do their own thing.
Dice trying to combat that in some way is a matter of trial and error…
But a squad can still do their classes and still dominate.
Hating the change is just for the sake of hating change while in the reality of the history of battlefield.. it was the players themse...

Kinect was being developed for marketing practices. The games were just the enticing candy.. Ie why they were cheaply developed shovel ware games.
The crazy things they were going to do and the amount of money thrown in for r&d towards consumer manipulation was unbelievable.

@sinspirit

Technically you are also correct..
But windows 11 is changing how games read with multithreading.
Thus the current issue.
Games were programmed one way for windows/Xbox gaming.
This is changing with windows.
Said changes are not coded as such or pipelined correctly currently.
This is due to the previous direction Microsoft had laid out for programmers.
The disagrees are not in the know..

They are actually copying Sony’s PlayStation 5 architecture with multi threading..
It is more the way games are coded currently for windows gaming that is causing the issue.
Ie it will take game patches to fix the games that are having slower reading issues.
Not a “windows 11” issue technically..

Yeah.. but since halo is coming out.. that is the only game that can look and play like yesteryear…
Gots to downplay the other FPS games for being more of the same for those impulse buys.
You will see… just pointing out “gaming media” trends.

Did the same with crackdown 3 …
Just sayin

Microsoft would rather lean on reviews instead of showing it off.
We will get cinematic trailers leading up to it..
But we will not get an in game preview/trailer.
Guaranteed.
To much of a gamble when everyone can see it rather than padded reviews for impulse purchases instead.
And you know we will get the “popular on twitch streams” articles because Microsoft does sponsored st...

The entire campaign?
You are literally fighting bots in every game with pve.
Just because you can drop them in a PvP map does not make them different.

When a company buys a company.. and said company needs to partner up with another company to make a reboot of a game..

Sure, you could see a “rumor of a purchase”..

I see a company that does not know wtf they are doing at all except trying to always sell the concept of them being a gaming company
🤷🏻‍♀️

There are ALWAYS differences…
Now, I am not advocating spending the overpriced first party version, you are correct there.. but definitely know what you are buying.

Because they collect data from other data collection sites then they also put in their own figures/equations.
They are not a legitimate entity within this field of work.
So since they get no official information from any true sources, they are a rumor site.
