All comes down to software not the vr.
It will not overtake the standard way of playing for sure. I do not think anyone thinks that, but if Sony pulls a Microsoft Kinect then it and the ps4 will take a hit.
And then says look at our pr fluffed hololens demos that do not show the actual display. Ooooo awwwwww

That was not a fad issue with consoles that was with the tvs and Sony made it an option. Of which, killzone 3 in 3D was amazing!!!!

The only reason I think Microsoft will is because they are trying to reclaim market shares. The Xbox one is not doing it nor is its software so the will need to entice consumers. Not only have they been quiet about upcoming games, they have postponed games likely for the Scorpio to show their true potential. ie crackdown.
Maybe they will not, but knowing Microsoft and their fight to recapture market share, I do not think they are dumb enough to say power is their missing formula.

A lot are 120hz and 240hz... Now this does not mean frames per second it does mean refresh rates. A game refreshing at 90fps on a set 120 and 240hz tvs will see a clearer image. It would not be anything huge but if scorpios leak is true, I would not doubt that they make it 120fps @ 1080p or 4K @ 30fps.
Now, through tests they have said you would not notice a difference but most consumer products never offered such devices that run those refresh r...

The rumor is that the neo will offer 1080p at 90fps or, 4K and 30fps with both adding better quality. Like hd ports of the current gen.

I so love the fact that this gen introduced "resolution-gate" when it began previously. With many sites not only doing the comparisons, but reporting them as well to Microsoft even advertising the better version.,, this gen Sony beats out Microsoft, all the sites disappear(anyone seen lensoftruth this gen?), all the media sites stop covering it and even eurogamer started downplaying the comparisons by always grouping the consoles together and praising the PC.

It would be an expesnsive catching up. The price of having to buy the Scorpio and the preferred more expensive br head set would be the deal.
Not saying that it is bad or anything, just the very expensive route.
By the time that combo is available, a ps4 and vr headset will most likely cost as much as a Scorpio.
So, it will be available, but it will not dominate or over take a market. It will just be.

Knack was a good game. You should try it.
Driveclub is a great game. You should try, especially with the free vr update... No other racer compares with vr curr...

The blu Rays that are just formatted for 4K players are cheap, the only 4K movie in bluray, batman v superman, was $59.99.

Did you not watch the conference? Bf1, fifa16, COD:IW & MW are all games supporting it from day one with patches coming from their first party games.
The same change you would see with an Xbox one s on that tv.
But you do not have to buy a new console for it.
