Sorry about repeating myself, but that doesn't make it any less truth. You can't call this year, the year of a console that is coming 9 months from now, just like last year wasn't "The year of the Pro".

Microsoft has so few games coming up, that they can't allow themselves to replace a cancelled game with a new announcement, they need to add more games, not subtract or interchange, If Scalebound wasnt' going to be a 90+ metacritic game that's ok, they just needed more development time and it could have been a solid 8, and that's good too, it was something different on a machine that greatly needs different, specially when you don't have that much more to offer.

So...? Do we start tomorrow as usual with the countdown for the year of the Scorpio?
So now the talk is not going to be about the year of the Scorpio but about the Cloud again? Or do we start tomorrow as if nothing got cancelled today with the countdown for the year of the Scorpio?, 'Cause years according to Microsoft are you know, like 3 months long give or take.

"We’re working hard to deliver an amazing lineup of games to our fans this year, including Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves and..."
...AND THAT'S IT, that's all you guys have, that's if nothing else gets cancelled or postponed.
Microsoft fans yesterday, " THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST YEAR EVER!!, the year of the scorpio, it's a beast!!, 4k!!, all these great games, Scalebound.... and continue naming the others"
Microsoft Fans Today, "Let's be honest scalebound looked like a mess in the last preview. And the protagonist looked lame af."
Personally as a non Xbox owner, Scalebound was the game I wanted the most on the Playstation, i'm a big, big fa...

I hated the dude too, but the game (besides the lame protagonist) looked amazing, it just needed more development time, time Microsoft wasn't willing to fund, specially when Kamiya wanted the game to be more RPG and Microsoft wanted it to be more action oriented.

The sad part is that this is coming from a great studio, with a great producer and the "support" of a giant like Microsoft, I don't know what's going on with Microsoft as a publisher, but my best guess is that what Kamiya wanted to make (An Rpg first) and what Microsoft wanted to publish (An action game first) were vastly different things.
This would not surprise me neither considering how they scrapped an almost done Fable Legends and what they did with the Phantom Dust Remake.

What I want to know is where are the companions in these few gameplay videos, I don't want them doing their own thing all over the place as "support", I want them part of a team of attack, like in previous games. Makes me think they played too much with the formula till it was diluted.
Exactly, what momentum? There's no momentum, they called 2017 the year of the Scorpio and the Scorpio will release at the end of the year. Who writes this things?
What I want to know is how much of an RPG is this game going to be, we know next to nothing about it, hope is a really long adventure with more role playing elements
Loved this game, really cool battle system, specially improving on a weapon the more you use it, and the mix between horror and RPG should be used more.
P.s: really cool how they connected Shadow Hearts to Koudelka.
The issue is that they will not have a year without a Halo or Forza title, in 2017 we will have the release of Halo Wars Remastered and Halo Wars 2 + a new unnanounced Forza title.
So, the answer is no, they can't or at least they've never tried to have a year without any of them for a long time.
I played the original Resident Evil on PS1 and the Remake on the GC, I want to play it again after so many years, but too many games, so little time XD.
P.s: Waiting anxiously to see what they do with the Remake of Resident Evil 2, my favorite game in the series.
Titán Souls is great, Day of the Tentacle is one of the best adventure games ever made and This War of Mine looks super fun, I see myself playing these "smaller" games in between the big ones as palate cleansers.
I understand people wanting AAA every month, we will get there, but me personally I still haven't had time to play Resident Evil Remake, Lords of the Fallen or Transformers: Devastation, to name a few.

Besides the Joke (hahahaha), If VR as a whole it's to succeed, it needs to be more than just for gaming, so on that I agree with Sony.

What about some love for Gravity Rush 2. :(.
Tales of Berseria looks excellent, great start of the year for Rpg gamers.
I got the platinum on Vita for this, really a wonderful little game, definitely buying the sequel to support this series.
