DS vs PSP
3DS vs Vita
and on and on.
Power alone does not mean a system will be great, as you have proved.
If you look at the Wiis lineup, it had more than a few highest rated games of all time for specific genres. Wii had good games.
Lest us forget over the last 15 years, Nintendo has experienced the highest software sales in the history of the company (of any game company actually). Nintendo has had more fans. Not less. That is just a fact.
Nintendo has been putting more games out than Sony and Microsoft combined. Do not throw stones when it comes to putting out games.
Crappy journalism based on rumors and speculation. How low can people go.
Fatal Frame was shown off at the Treehouse a ton. It was not playable but who cares.
So? Between the classic controllers, the Wii motes, how many controllers do you need?
You just proved my point, thank you.
And it will get reviewed highly and sell well which is what matters in the end. The game is not even done yet
The game has gotten mostly very very positive reviews in Japan
Never heard of this site. IGN, Game Informer, all the major sites said the game is really fun
God forbid he try to do something different. That is the real thing
Gamers claim they want different, but at the end of the day they want the same ol thing just the way they want it or they cry and go crazy.
At the end of the day this is all opinion and ridiculous.
Horizon/Uncharted 4 on the Sony side was great
The new rare game from Microsoft looked great
Fire Emblem/Mario Maker/Xenoblade/ Star Fox looked great from Nintendo
Fallout 4 was great from Bethesda
The Last Guardian? The best exclusive? A game in dev hell for 8 years, and Sony even said 2016 might not happen? We have only seen the game in an E3 setting.
You listed a lot of games that we have actually seen. You insult them by putting The Last Guardian in that list.
About last year? Not really. Pretty much all the game critics have had a pretty balanced view about this years E3. They see it not as a 1 hour thing, but a whole week thing. You only get the fanboyism and fighting on forums and comment sections
Nintendo was the undisputed winner last year with the conference, why would they go back after one down year? Nintendo had other events and announcements throughout E3, I thought it was fun.
I also appreciated the fact that microsoft and Nintendo had games focused on this year.
Nintendo had the worst "conference" but between the Smash direct, treehouse, nintendo world championships, full booths all the time, they had a pretty darn good E3. There holiday lineup between Wii U and 3DS is really compelling. They should make a killing as they usually do during the Holidays.
The games that really did it for me: Fire Emblem, Horizon, Mario Maker, Fallout 4, Xenoblade X, Bravely Second, South Park.
BC is a great feature.
Powerful hardware really has nothing to do with much. If you look historically
Remember, Nintendo did the no frills, power system before. It was called the gamecube.
When they innovated, tried to be unique, they made the Wii/DS/3DS.
Nintendo is at its best when they strive for innovation (and sometimes at its worst).
By saying you want the NX to have a boring controller, everything the same as PS4, you're not really helping Nintendo or thinking about the times when they were most successful with hardware.
Those handful of Wii U games and 3DS titles are more than Sony or Microsoft have put out for there systems (from a first party perspective). That is just fact.
Nintendo does need third party support, but to say Nintendo struggles to put out games is fanboy nonsense.
Xenoblade X, Fire Emblem, Kirby, Yoshi, splatoon on and on. They have released a bit this year themselves.
Mario Maker
Mario Tennis
Fatal Frame
Star Fox ...
