I dunno, nobody knows how a system will ultimately do. People thought the Wii would flop, others thought the DS would get crushed.
Nintendo innovates. Sometimes it works, other times it does not.
Nintendo needs to continue the stellar first party support/games though. Wii U has that going for it in the best way.
Atlus can say whatever they want but we have not seen a single english screenshot and it is coming this year? Not believing it. 25% new content for port. Not bad. it is an enhanced port but a port none the less.
And a collection is a collection.
Out of the big three, Sony has the worst exclusive holiday lineup. Just the way it is
1) Confirmed to come out until they delay it. It is not coming out in America in 2015. Nothing suggests that
2) Tear is a port. It has about 15-25% new content according to the devs. So that leaves about 75% the same.
3) Really? Your arguing for a port collection as the big holiday game? come on..........
A game with no release date, a port of a game on vita, a collection is not what I would call a strong lineup.
The system is going to sell regardless of games. Great for Sony, bad for the gamer.
Sorry but your completely wrong. Since the PS4 has been out, the Wii U has generally been doing better in software sales and especially hardware. Nintendo has a relationship with square with DQ in particular.
And 3DS is getting more JRPGs than anything, so?

DS is one of the best systems ever with one of the best libraries of games. The system is weak as hell. When hardware determines a games quality, get back to me.
