@MikeMyers
I agree, PS3 gamers and 360 gamers are not different. People who believe that PS3 has a user base full of cultured, sophisticated gamers are kidding themselves. The user base is pretty much identical for both consoles.
Sony is incredibly counter productive when it comes to getting the Vita to sell. But I still like mine, I hope the support for it picks up.
Yes, because we all live in Europe.
I wish they would give Connor at least one more game. What would be nice is if they released a continuation of Connor's story on Vita alongside the next console release.
I completely agree. People say his voice acting was monotonous and boring. That's how Native Americans spoke! They say he is boring, and I just don't understand how. A ton of interesting stuff happened to him and his relationship with Haytham was done well. Connor is not the problem in AC3. Pacing and the fact that the assassination of big bosses were pretty rigid and scripted.
The information is from an incredibly unreliable source. Why don't we wait for Ubisoft to announce something, as they said they would make the details public soon.
So, I'm assuming you live in the UK.
I'm surprised he acknowledges some of the mistakes in the game. Though I actually do like the buffness of the characters.
What it needs is an ending to the modern day story. It's dragging the series down. After that they can just do single games with various Assassin's about them vying for control in certain parts throughout history without having to worry about all the first civilian stuff that the games have now. It'd feel more like AC1, where the Apple was just a mysterious object that gave people power, not a doorway to a grand conspiracy throughout time.
Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect always have epic trailers.
@SonyStyled
When they do that it's usually because of something about the collection itself. I've seen complaints because you have to install Killzone 1, and that all the games aren't on separate discs with their original cases like the Resistance collection. It's more about the bundle than the actual games.
Assassin's Creed actually makes big changes game to game. CoD just copies and pastes the same game with new guns and maps. It's not the yearly release that gets criticism, it's the fact that it's the same exact game.
Except that many people would wait for prices to drop because used games no longer exist, which just hurts the dev. They'd have to drop prices faster and end up selling at a loss. They certainly wouldn't be putting out more games if they thought they were going to take a hit from it.
An easter egg in a game made by Visceral games means that Bioware has gone to shit? Makes sense.
Morals mean absolutely nothing to anyone in the business world. If you think that Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft actually give a shit about the people who use their products, you're wrong. The developers and certain people within each company probably do, but the companies exist to generate profit. They want to make money. If Ubisoft can do that by releasing it on 3 consoles instead of one, then they're going to do it.
Killzone 1 blew in my opinion. 2 and 3 were much better. Still, I hope this rumor is true as well.
The fiscal year 2014 starts in October 2013, just in time for them to release it in November for holiday sales. So no we didn't miss that part.
Yeah there were plenty of ways to assassinate regular people, but you never got to actually try to assassinate a main bad guy. It was a bit disappointing. Still a fun game to me though.
I actually liked Connor and his story, and I'm sad we'll never see it continued, because they clearly left it open for sequels. It wasn't paced well at all, but it still had me hooked for the most part.
Gotta agree. The logic behind creating a portable handheld gaming device so that you can use it in your living room makes absolutely no sense. That should be a bonus. It's like they just want the Vita to be an accessory for their home consoles.
