This is why Sony blows at advertising. None of those made me think "playstation" when I saw them. Make ads, not art (if this can be considered art).
I'm hoping they announce an AC for Vita.
Did they ever say it was supposed to be a trilogy? I think that most just assumed that. Desmond's story was supposed to end with the third game, which technically happened. Whatever the case, I could definitely see Watch Dogs being an AC game originally. Just like AC was originally a Prince of Persia game.

I'm not really a huge fan of FPS's in general. I did play the multiplayer in 2, but I had trouble finding a game. 1 I was never able to play because I could never get into a game. I think the reason I couldn't get past the first campaign was the controls. They were so awkward compared to other FPS's.
You haven't even played the game yet. Chill out.
True that about Resistance. I just traded the Resistance Collection in. Didn't even get past the first game. I played 3's multiplayer. It was not bad but not enough to keep the game.
World at War was my favorite. Loved the multiplayer for it. It was relatively balanced too because you only had three kill streaks.
Or do they think they're clever for making the connection? The world may never know.
This should be interesting. The Assassin's are about creating order while pirates are about creating chaos. Should be an interesting dynamic, since Edward is both.
I actually liked AC3. The story was not as good as AC2, but I liked the combat. It had a much more brutal feel to it. And the naval missions and climbing trees were a welcome addition. Did I enjoy naval missions enough to base a game around them? Probably not. That's why I'm wary of this game. That and the fact that they seem to have no idea where they're going with this story.
I'd say that the fact that they're making naval gameplay such a huge part of the game is a massive risk in and of itself.
This is the alpha version of the game. The final product would look much better. It would be at the very least on the level of this gen.
Honestly I find Darksiders a lot more enjoyable than God of War. The concept is really cool and I dig the 90's comic style character designs they have going on.
That's the thing about these comparisons. Messing around on the settings for a bit will get you the same results as the other console that is supposedly better. At least when it comes to visuals, not the actual performance of the game.
Well that escalated quickly.
I was under the impression AC4 Black Flag won't be released until November. When did you get a chance to play it? Oh, that's right, you didn't.
Milking implies that the quality of the product is bad. Compared to previous installments, AC3 had a badly paced story. But to say it was a bad game is ridiculous. The revamped combat system, new weapons, being able to climb trees, tons of side quests, and the sheer size of the world to explore all made it a great game. The ...
I don't know. Regardless of yearly release, Assassin's Creed is always enjoyable. Once it stops being fun, then I'll have a problem with it. I have to believe some people just hate it because it's popular to hate it. Black Flag is one of my most anticipated, just as AC games always are for me. If a franchise can bring me back for more every year, then they're doing something right.
It's a bit irritating. And then there are those who do read and miss the incredibly obvious sarcasm and satire in it. That's almost worse.
Again, people on forums don't represent the gaming community as a whole at all. They're a vocal minority. Dollar votes are what counts, and people are still spending money every year on Assassin's Creed. If they had a problem, they wouldn't buy it, and AC3 wouldn't have sold millions of copies.
Every game they put out is quality, I don't see why people have a problem with yearly releases of good games. If they don't want to play them, then fine, b...
Totally. I already pre-ordered my copy for Vita.
