You're the reason we can't have nice things.
Go to the list of Vita games and take out all the ports and shitty games nobody wants. The few good games left are why people complain. What's the point of having a Vita if all you can play on it is bad ports and low quality games with a few actually good games here and there? Indie games are great, but it needs good AAA support and exclusives in addition to the indie games (which I could also just play on my PS3 btw). One of the top games on Vita right now is Farming Simulator. Let that ...
@Numptyarse
When lecturing somebody on grammar, use the proper "you're".
Honestly if there were just some exclusive spin offs of all the PS3's popular franchises, they'd have some great games on there that people would want to buy because they know the franchise. inFAMOUS, God of War, Last of Us (especially this one with all the hype and praise it's getting), Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, etc. They already have LBP, Uncharted, and Resistance (that didn't go as they'd hoped). They'd have to be made well though to avoid Resistance type s...
Yeah they are great games. But most of them offer no replay value. Uncharted and AC don't have proper multiplayer and I feel no reason to play Gravity Rush again other than it's free and I sold my copy a few months ago. Once you're done, you're done.
I do agree most of the reasons in the article seem like minor or pretty subjective issues. I don't have a problem with the brightness or dead zone. I don't use my camera for anything and rarely take screen...
Would've been great if they, I don't know, showed them during their stage time. Games on the floor equates to an incredibly small amount of people knowing about those games. Also, the upcoming list is pretty weak. Mostly ports and indie games, with little to no big name support. And yes AAA support is necessary. If I wanted to play indie games I'd take out my phone and play some. Nobody buys a Vita for the indie support it gets. I love the Vita, but Sony is incredibly bad when it ...
I thought it was a good game, but the praise it gets is pretty ridiculous. People exaggerate it quite a bit. It feels very much like Uncharted so the gameplay is nothing groundbreaking and the story is nothing new.
Ellie sewed up Joel's womb!?! :P
I used it moderately. I didn't think it was out of place. It had weaknesses, too. If nobody was moving they wouldn't show up. That is a pretty big disadvantage against human enemies.
I just got it and it's a lot of fun. I just hope the campaign is a good length. I hate it when games are short. But the tombs around the island should take up some time.
Game does look awful, but where in the hell did the author learn to write. I had no idea what the f*** his point was until the end. Up until that point it seemed like random ramblings about shitty games.
Looks pretty legit. Games like this are typically less popular than giant action/shooter games, but the variety they bring is much appreciated.
I'd agree, except this is made by Ubisoft Montreal (people who made Assassin's Creed) and the gameplay seems pretty similar to AC games.
I watched them plead for a bit then killed them all. I shotgunned two and beat the third to death.
Yeah I called Sam getting infected. That was incredibly predictable. The suicide I didn't call. I figured he'd kill his brother but not that he'd kill himself. But the game as a whole was pretty predictable. Major plot points- Ellie being immune, Joel's daughter dying, Joel saving her instead of finding a cure. It's been done before, it'll be done again. Like I said, what makes it great is the way they told it and the development of the characters that a lot of games/m...
I know, I can't wait for them. It's the summer famine again. And hopefully Sony will announce the remainder of their Vita games so we can see what's coming.
I suspected him being a cannibal, then he seemed really nice so I dismissed it, but then when he started getting all douchey I went back to thinking he was a cannibal.
@ShadowRunner
Don't be a prick, you know what he meant. Xbox Live almost never has to go down for maintenance. His question is why is it possible for them but not possible for Sony. Why is everyone on this site such an asshole...
Bro, the Last of Us is an incredibly predictable game itself. The only thing I did not see coming is SPOILER Davis turning on Ellie after they fight off hordes of zombies. I called him being a cannibal though. Everything else was pretty predictable. And drew a considerable amount from the Walking Dead comics and past zombie movies and whatnot. What makes the game so great is the way they told the story though.
It's been in the drain for a while.
