I've seen these reasons in plenty of games, a few of which were released this year. I think the fact that this won is kind of ridiculous. Is it fun? Yes. Does it have a good story? Yes. Does it have strong gameplay? Not at all, which is kind of important consider gameplay is a big part of the whole "game" thing. It's essentially an interactive storybook. I'm not saying it's not an awesome experience, but it certainly isn't game of the year. Borderlands 2 (how tha...
Well at least you're not wearing jeans.
I haven't played the game yet, but I seriously doubt it's a 3.5/10.
Mass Effect 3's ending wasn't even bad. And it wasn't a twist because literally all of your options were foreshadowed like a motherf***er.
I think the Walking Dead is extremely over rated. It's barely a game. It's got a good story but the gameplay is almost non existent. That's something that is kind of important in a game. Plus so little went into it compared to Mass Effect 3, Assassin's Creed 3, and Dishonored. I think it's kind of an insult to the developers of those games.

Assassin's Creed 3, ME3, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, and Halo 4 are all worth it more than ZombiU and are more than 8 hours. And yes, I have played the game. It's good and does survival horror better than a lot of so-called survival horror games these days, but it's not the best game of the year (imo).
@ Sheikh
Oh, yeah I know it's fair business. It's still a dick move, though. (I'm glad they did it though, Halo under Apple was a real time strategy game). I was just saying, it's not that big a leap from buying a competitors game out from under them and making a game bomb on a competitors device on purpose. Not sure if MS paying Activision to make crappy Vita game is illegal, but it is definitely an unethical thing to do.
Whenever I see Big Sky Infinity I automatically read it as Bioshock Infinite. It causes a lot of confusion for me. :P
Didn't play many games this year, did you?
If used correctly they could be awesome. Sadly developers feel the need to tack on features that utilize the "gimmicks" so that they can say they did. It ends up detracting from the game in my opinion.
Circa 2006
Not that paranoid. There was that one time that Bungie was developing Halo exclusively for Mac, and then Microsoft bought Bungie and took Halo. One of MS's greatest franchises, stolen out from under Apple.
"the fact that they promised your choices from me 1,2&3 would effect the ending and then turn around to completely ignore every plot choices since the start"
This argument makes no sense to me. The plot choices from ME1 meant close to nothing in ME2. Why would it be any different in ME3? What did you want 100 different possible endings? It's not their fault you had unrealistic expectations.
I loved ME3. People over reacted a shit ton at the ending. I hope it's with Joker on the planet at the end of the game.
No 360 fans are even saying that though. Everyone above just admitted it's the same on 360.
@ shutUpAndTakeMyMoney
I swear to God, you post that same Medal of Honor video in every argument you get involved in.
What pisses me off is when people use the term "reverse-racism". It's only used when a non white person is being racist. Reverse racism doesn't exist, the term itself is racist because it implies that only white people can be racist.
Very true. I had it for 360 and I it so much even with all the technical problems. It was incredibly fresh and new at the time. Fantastic story.
Yeah, that's a universal thing. It's a feature Netflix has, not just the PS3. I can watch on my Kindle, PS3, PS Vita, computer, or 360 and still resume in the same spot on any device.
Reading over your past few posts, I get the feeling you're a bit peeved at Bioware.
