Generations are all about time periods. Has nothing to do with specs. Wii U is still next gen, it's just not as advanced as people were expecting from the next gen consoles.
I think it needs to have cheaper memory cards or a price cut on the console itself. Sony can't afford to do both. Other than that is just needs some big name franchises. It's already got AC, which was a step in the right direction, and CoD, which was a massive failure. GTA, MGS, and Monster Hunter would help a bunch, as long as they are executed well.
Well yeah, but there is more than just GTA on the PS2. PS2 support would be cool, but not really necessary in my opinion. A lot of great PS2 games are available one way or another already.

They just can't access the map packs. They said when you download them for free that you would only be able to access it until I think the 18th at 9 AM. So, it shouldn't really be a surprise.

While MGS is awesome, it'd be cooler to just have a new MGS instead of a port of Ground Zeroes (which I'm sure most of us will have already played). I'm really looking forward to Star Wars 1313, though. Looks awesome.

Yes, because Altair was such a compelling character. And the only reason people like Ezio more is because he had 3 games worth of development. At the end of AC2, he was developed the same amount as Connor is now.
Holy God, didn't even know about that. I'm really excited that it's a Vita exclusive now. I'd love a MGS game on the go and I know it will be good. So hopefully we'll be seeing Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain exclusively on Vita.

I feel really bad for his brother. They ousted him on a national stage and every news site posted his facebook. And then people started insulting him and telling him to rot in hell, without even knowing that it was really him and despite the fact he was still posting even though the shooter was dead. That's a really shitty way to find out what his brother did.

Agreed. A shady ending doesn't change the fact that the game was beautiful, had great gameplay, an epic story, and awesome characters. I find it hard to believe that 10 minutes invalidates a 30+ hour experience.
I know what you're saying. My parents were kind of upset when they found out I had GTA 4. My dad thought it was about killing prostitutes and police officers.
