Is that possibly the difference between single and multi? Also it's a work in progress. I think the devs know releasing a game as ugly as it is above would be suicide.
I know this is in the tech section, but Mac's are about as far from gaming as a PC can get.
This is a Source engine game, which is good, but it's no monster to run.
It takes a 2.8 Dual Core processor, 3 gigs of RAM, and an Overclocked 512mb 8800 GT to run Crysis at High Settings a little above 720p on my PC. It's going to take some serious optimization and probably some sacrifices to get it on the PS3.
The graphics aren't amazing, but I'm willing to sacrifice that if they can add a really unique new play-type.
It's a pretty good game. It's a bit text heavy though, because there are no spoken parts. Your pretty much left to roam at your discretion, since there isn't a lot of direction on what you should be doing.
I think it's funny that they are interviewing the CEO of Ultimate Game Chair while he is wearing a pair of 3D goggles.
Hopefully now that they've released the console versions of HL2 they will be able to get episode three out in a more timely manor.
I think that any time spent with your kids is time well spent, especially when your both doing something they enjoy.
I think they need to try harder on this one than they did on Hellgate: London. They probably won't get the hype they got last time either.
I think there is too much fluoride in the water. If news like this came out 80 years ago there would be rioting in the streets. The only reason people think they can invade our privacy, even the inner working of our bodies, is because no one will stand up to them.
The whole reason it continues is because people are allowed to get away with it. I personally have never used a pirated game, because I would like developers to keep making PC games. I don't believe this is a problem for Valve with Steam being able to know who bought what software.
I didn't attract my girlfriend with my gaming skills, but I was attracted to her Donkey Kong Country skills.
just because their media is highly sexualized doesn't mean their society isn't repressed.
Japan is one of the most sexually repressed countries on the planet, and this is just one of the symptoms. So, until the Japanese learn to loosen up, you're going to see a lot more over inflated mammary glands.
I don't even think I'll be renting this one. The first game was so boring for me all I was doing was running straight through every level, and not even using cover.
Wow is just a game like any other game, so calling people who play it losers is kinda like calling yourself a loser, isn't it? Behavior in WoW is typical of all Online games, like Halo, when women are present. There is a fraction of people who only behave because they fear reprisal or punishment. Unlike the real world there is infinitely less risk acting like this online, so the people who were inhibited are now free to act out how they really feel. This isn't typical behavior of all people w...
You can't do away with pay to play MMO's, because you can't expect the Developers to maintain a large server infrastructure for free or with out an unbelievable amount of Advertising. Personally I like MMO's because of their non-repetitive progression and the fact that they don't end after just 5 hours (COD 4, Heavenly Sword)
The Federal Government has no right to play the censor. Their role is simply to conduct Foreign policy and to guard our nation. If anyone has the right, and I don't think anyone does, it's the states that should consider censorship. Again I'm not advocating censorship.
Normal single player modes may be getting easier or maybe were just getting better, but multiplayer against real people is about as challenging as it gets.
