4K bluray movies don't cost $50, first week new releases are all $25-$30. Same as many standard Bluray movie.
Sony already confirmed it will not have a UHD optical drive.
@genuine user
Why are you defending this? So Sony is trying to sell us a premium product with 4K as the big feature that separates it from the budget PS4 Slim and you see nothing wrong with not including a UHD bluray player in it as well? I have a 4K TV and have been waiting for the Neo to be used as a UHD bluray player in addition to the upgraded specs for games. This is disappointing and we should demand better from Sony.
If Microsoft can add a UHD bluray drive inside the Slim without increasing the price, why can't Sony?
As much as I would like to agree with you, I just can't after today's reveal of the Neo. I already have a PS4 and been saving and looking forward to the Neo with hope of trading in my PS4 to not only get a specs upgrade but a UHD player added as well. There is no point and incentive now when my current PS4 does almost the same job.
A game console has evolved similar to phones. The main function of the smartphone is communication but every extras added will make it a...
It has a more powerful GPU than the Xbone so it isn't surprising that it is heavier. What do you expect?
White? Well great move as I think Sony wants customers to see the difference between the Neo and PS4. Color can help there
This is pretty weak of Sony to remove the optical port. Many gamers still have sound system that uses optical only, don't have a TV with optical out and have $300 gaming headset like an Astro that uses optical. Optical better be in with the Neo as I am planning to upgrade later on this year to that console.
What is wrong with 4.2TF? It is almost 2.5X more powerful than the current PS4, will have a UHD Bluray drive and will be priced attractively at $400-$450.
That would drive the price up. No way that will happen. The DS4 is fine the way it is.
Neo I am expecting to be be $450 and Slim will be $250. The current OG PS4 retails for $350 and judging from history of Slim pricing from Sony, it will be $100 off just like the PS3 Slim was $100 off from the OG PS3.
What is wrong with you? You are the one that was hyping this game up with all those positive previews and early reviews. Many bought the game based on the materials you'd provided us and now you just abandoned ship just like that?
I wonder how is this possible? Did amazon made a deal with Sony to buy back the used copies or just Amazon being Amazon and ate the cost in the sake of pleasing their customers?
I only have a PS4 so I am not that worry about still only getting two games per month for it but it will be disapointing if Sony don't improve on the quality of PS Plus titles from now on after the $10 increase.
If I have a gaming PC other than a Macbook Air, I would love to but unfortunately many like myself don't or have a need for a gaming PC.
I actually am considering it since I am getting the new PS Neo to replace my PS4, I might trade in my current PS4 for a Xbone Slim and get this game with it. MS did the Slim right.
You just destroyed him, Ratchet.(:
What bugs me is how gimped the new PS4 slim is. If it is indeed $300, it looks inferior to what Microsoft is putting in their $300 Xbone Slim as many of my friends and I were expecting a UHD Bluray drive included. It doesn't affect me as I am getting the Neo but this Slim just look cheap and gimped if it is indeed $300 for the 500GB model and not $250.
I got to admit, this game is making me jealous as a PS4 owner. I know GT Sports is coming but I am more of an arcade racing fan and a huge MotorStorm fan. This is the closest to a next gen MotorStorm racer as there is.
Some of the hates are warranted though. Conspired with Hello Games to lie about No Man's Sky until after launch and charging $60 for it, increasing the price of PSN Plus, delaying their two AAA titles that was scheduled for this Fall when they already have set dates and are highly anticipated, selling the PS4 Pro without a UHD Ultra 4K drive when most expected one, and couldn't reach an agreement with Bethesda to bring Mod support to PS4 gamers. I mean, as a PS fan and owner, you dam...
