And we know nothing about PS5 games...those can be cross gen with PS4 slim as well in the beginning. Add to the fact that nothing from MS's internal studios were shown so we will see.
Most of the games at the Xbox event were smaller AA third party games and cross gen titles. How can you compared them to the likes of Killzone:SF and Ryse at the XB1/PS4 launch when nothing from MS of Sony First party were shown for XSX/PS5?
This was a AA small third party showcase for XSX and most of those games will also appear on PS5 as well and you are comparing them to only on PS5 games? Where is the logic?
These are most likely current gen ports ported to the early new generation and most are AA indies titles so it is not an indication of what AAA games from First and third parties will look like.
For example, during Xb1/PS4 launch in 2013, smaller AA titles like Loco Cycle, Blacklight Retribution looked like they were from the XB360/PS3 era but games like Ryse and Killzone :SF looked amazing.
I don't get how people that have been gaming for a long time st...
My Xbox One controllers are still working with replaceable battery pack and will probably last me thru the XSX generation as well.
One of my PS4 controllers can't hold a charge after 1.5 years of used. I think replaceable battery pack is the way to go so I don't know what you are trying to say
It is NOT the same thing. Cross buy for PS4 and Vita, for example, are two different versions, codes, of the same title. For smart delivery, it is one Xbox code of a game. Smart delivery will allow the xbox system that the user is on to download what assets are needed for that game.
It is about PC but it is also available on Xbox as well so maybe he is a console only gamer looking to play this game. What is wrong with him saying he is excited for Xbox Series X to play this game?
RE2 remake is one if the best games of this generation so if you can grab it on the cheap, go for it as you won't be disappointed
I was reading the thread
https://n4g.com/news/233408...
In which there are almost 200 posts and non of them said "RE3 sucks, who cares." Most of the replies were related to how it is "un-optimised on XB1X and should be fixed with a patch". And here it is, patched and running great on the XB1X so I don't k...
I almost pull the trigger and bought RE3 for my PS4 Pro the other day. This patch seems to make the XB1X run faster in fps in gameplay and DF said it look a bit better too. I am switching my purchase for the XB1 version. I didn't expect the patch to be out this fast.
My initial reason for wanting the disc version of RE3 remake for the XB1 is that the the 4k code is embedded in the disc already so I can install it on the next gen XSX console offline and it'll still ...
So when is 8.0 a bad score?
The guy in question did worked in games like Killzone and Wipeout and other Playstation projects, that why his words hold more water. You are just Rainslacker here by name. I can say I'm a developer too but unless I show some proof that I am, no one is going to take me seriously.
The only thing faster than the XSX is the SSD on the PS5. The PS5 wins the race in loading 1 seconds vs 3 seconds BUT it is slower in CPU, weaker GPU, slower memory bandwidth, weaker Raytracing and everything else. Don't kid yourself, as the PS5 is a great console but it is no match for the Series X in graphics spec.

"The processor is locked so it can't go past the 2.33GHZ. It isn't a slower chip that is boosted when needed. It slows down when the extra power isn't needed....as was said by Cerny in the presentation. "
Not according to digital foundry
"PS5 is predictable but it forces developers to make choices that won't be necessary on Series X. I think fixed clocks are a better choice in this case BUT we'll see how ...
Here is more info regarding the dedicated audio chip of XSX.
Ninja Theory in particular is enthusiastic about the chip. This is fitting given the Senua franchise's incredible sound effects and score. "It's extremely exciting. We're going to have a dedicated chip to work with audio, which means we finally won't have to fight with programmers and artists for memory and CPU power," senior sound designer Daniele Galante
Convenient, space saving, additional power boost to old titles, can sell their PS4 to save up for a PS5. There are many reasons.
There are over 600 combined X360 and OG Xbox games that are BC on XB1. That is over 600 plus an addition 3000 plus of all XB1 titles that will be playable on the Series X vs maybe 100 BC PS4 at launch on PS5. No contest.
Well since 98% of the games are the same on both consoles, that might entice them to trade-in their PS4 discs to gamestop and stack up on XB1 discs (which are guaranteed to work on Series X at launch) and go with XSX over a PS5.
Christopher,
Yes, it will work with the XB1 kinect.
Here is a FAQ from Xbox support regarding using Kinect on the XB1S and XB1X
Is the Kinect compatible with Xbox One X?
"To use your existing Xbox One Kinect Sensor with a new Xbox One S or Xbox One X console, you'll need an Xbox Kinect Adapter. This adapter lets you connect your Kinect sensor to the Xbox One S or...
You can't be serious! You missed the memo in which MS's internal studios XSX projects will be shown in July or you're just trolling?
