The studio made one of the best PSVR launch games and now they got the axed. This does not look good for the future of PSVR. Why is Sony not supporting their secondary gaming products like Vita and PSVR? It is like they are relying on third party to do all the work.

not saying it is a bad thing but almost all of these indies can be played on other platforms including on my phone. Including a few more games that can only be played on a console/or console + PC will bring in more validity and uniqueness to PS Plus service. I think that is what many subscribers, including myself, are having an issue with.
do some of you have to defend Sony at all cost and at all time? The comments and downvotes in the Official PSN Blog and their YouTube channel said it all. The majority of PS4 gamers with Plus are not happy with what Sony is giving us.
They jacked up the PS Plus subscription price for many of us and the least they can do is give us more than cheap indies on a monthly basis. Tired of this.
Another month, another weak selection of PS4 titles. I was hoping the price increase would result in a few more AAA titles but it is the same indies again and again every month.
I have and played the game yesterday and the slowdown, framrate, and camera angles are indeed real issues on the PS4. So it is not just people without the game that are experiencing these shortcomings.
For all the delays and multiple years to get this fix at launch for a more powerful platform than on PS3, it is disappointed that these issues are still here. Take a bit of enjoyment away from the overall experience for me.
Had to agreed with the technical viewpoint of the review. I am playing it on my regular PS4 and even when you are running around in an opened area with just grass, the slowdown can crawled to the low 20s for an extended period of time. Really unacceptable for a 8 year last gen port on the more powerful PS4 hardware.
Good! This is a hard lesson for Sony that by not including a UHD blu ray drive and is selling at the same price as the competition that has one is not good business. Most consumers are not sheeps that will buy whatever Sony is thrown at them and are well aware of the different values in the consoles they are looking to buy. I already bought a Xbone One Slim this past weekend with a free copy of Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate edition at Target along with a few UHD bluray movies and can't be any happier. The quality of 4K bluray disc looks 10x better than streaming on Amazon and Netflix. Best purchase I'd made this year.
@goldby, I can't care less about HDR as my 4K TV has none. We are on the topic of 4K bluray player on console so why are you and spaceranger bringing up HDR when it is not even part of the topic pertaining to the PS4 Pro not having a UHD 4K drive?

The new Xbone S console also includes a UHD BD-ROM player, with a bill of materials (BOM) cost of $33.50, versus the previous $18 conventional Blu-Ray drive.
33.50 - 18 = $15.50.
Since Sony, like I said, is a manufacturer and holds several patents for the UHD bluray, they will indeed also get it cheaper than $15.50. Like around my estimate of $13.
The HDR on the PS4 also requires an expensive 4K TV that is HDR ready. Not many people that are on the old PS4 model have such a TV to even take advantage of it. It is really a pointless update. The fact that Sony didn't include a cheap $13 extra (probably cost Sony less since they are one of the producers of UHD bluray) on their new revised PS4 Slim and their 4K premium PS4 Pro consoles is really a disservice to people that have a 4K TV or is buying one soon. That is what I was about to say. My 4K TV already have Amazon and Netflix 4K streaming and most 4K TV sold these days have it. So I don't get that argument that the PS4 Pro is a great system for 4K streaming from some people here. The 4K drive would have made a huge difference on the Pro being an all 4K all around home system.
The 4K bluray drive is about $13 more than a standard bluray drive. There is no excuse for Sony to not include it and still sell it for the same $400 price. Maybe provide a 500gb sku and include a 4K drive and give people choices if Sony really want to squeeze that profit margin.
I already have a PS4 and my original plan was to trade it in to upgrade to a Pro due to me wanting a 4K bluray player as I was expecting one. I mean the PS1 had CD support, the PS2 had DVD support, the PS3 had bluray support so it is only logical to expect a UHD 4K bluray drive to be included on the PS4 Pro. Since that shocking news that the Pro won't have a UHD 4K drive, there is no need for me to upgrade to it when my PS4 do just as good a job.
Sorry, I already have a PC and unfortunately it is a Macbook Air and I am not interested in a $1200 Desktop PC. A $300 Xbone S will do just fine as I am a console gamer. Now instead of having just one console, I have two.
This game has made a new Xbone owner out of me. I am getting the Xbone S next week with a copy of FH3. I need a good racing game this year and Xbox is providing an amazing one next week. I am officially a Xbox gamer now as I can no longer resist Forza.

Wow, that is epic, Overload. Horizon Zero Dawn might be the best game of early 2017. PS4 is really hitting on all cylinders now.
