He responded to a fan on his Twitter a full year before the unveil of X360 BC and promised he and his team are working to get it work on XB1. At last year's E3, the rest is history.
There are many, many other smaller examples of how he had lived up to his words so what make this any different?

Emulator is definitely a great option to have, I have been enjoying my PS2 disc games on my PC with improved resolution for awhile now and it is great.
Awesome, logged in my XB1 and the AW American Nightmare was there for me to download and play. Just like how I'd remebered it from the X360.

Well, hope this improve as I still have two dozens PS3 games but had already traded in my PS3 to pay for a PS4. With no BC on PS4, this would be a great alternative to relive some of those old classics.

Yes it is. XBOX one will be like iPad...it will get upgrade every few years and all games will be forward/backward compatible. 'Xbox Mega' will be released soon and all games will be 1080p and locked 60fps while a 'Xbox Ultra' will be released when 4K graphic cards are cheaper and 4K TV adoption rate is standard. All Xbox games will be cross compatible and scale to meet each Xbox specification.

Actually, all Xbox 360 games are indeed free. You get to keep them even when your Live membership expires. Since you get 2 of them per month now and made playable on XB1, those are indeed "Free". The only game subscription service that offers Free games so NOTabot is correct.
Me too. Hopefully there is a good reason for this as maybe funds will now be alloted to buy another studio or something. MS have some explaining to do.
