Sony "are"...? Sony is the plural of what?
I would be surprised if Rockstar was not co-ordinating its plans with Microsoft and Sony: there may be more to this story than we've been allowed to know at this point. It's been reported that console sales are declining for both companies; so they have a need to refresh their systems this year if possible.
Is it likely that GTA5 would exist for 4-5 years as a last-generation game? Playable only on old consoles, or in backwards-compatible form on a next-gen console ...
When Bethesda releases a new game, one frequently hears the criticism that the game's designers didn't take enough time to get rid of the "bugs" ---
but when Rockstar says it needs more time to perfect GTA 5, there's a hue and cry over the "delay",
I do wonder, however, what implications this news may have for new generation consoles (rumored to be due in November): after the release of GTA 5, will there be no new GTA game for...
I've never spent more than $39.95 per year for my Live subscription, and, unlike DA Shredder, I have not been playing for 30 years -- which i would have to do to reach $1,200.
My Live subscription costs about the same as a Vente Americano once a month -- and gives me more pleasure than one cup of coffee.
But to each his own.... Live and let live -- and all that.
Ah, the good ol' days when gamers were more interested in games -- than in stock market reports.
as others have commented above, i, too, have all platforms because i am truly interested in games rather than politics and polemics.
This article never explains its title
WHY was Dishonored over-rated by so many critics and game players?
IDishonored has a Metascore of 7.6 based on 444 submissions by players and a score of 88 based on 56 reviews by critics.
The article seems to suggest that because certain parts of the game were reminiscent of other games, it was over-rated by everyone except the author of this rather weak commentary.
Any points worth making about this wrong-headed article have already been made above. The rest is just mindless controversy... all too common in video game land.
The title tells us that there is a new Borderlands 2 character.
The story then says "maybe" -- wait and see.
And this is "Breaking News"?
How indeed did this story get approved?
i installed game on my HD (as recommended) and have never had a slow load time between interiors and exteriors.
Also (at level 40, with over 3 million gold) I have earned every available house and have no storage problems. (Each house gives you access to your complete "stash").
There's a DLC due on March 20th that supposedly adds another 15% to the Amalur World -- which is already quite vast.
I would prefer a review that demo...
So if Bioware waited 4 weeks and then released the DLC -- all would be well?
But making it available during ME3's launch week appears unseemly?
I don't think that there is much here to grumble about.
I will buy the game and the DLC -- because of the high quality of Bioware's work; that's what matters to me. Other people are free to do what they like...
I got a message that no more codes were available....
so much for that; Captain Shepherd will have to do without me.
I'm ambivalent about Amalur -- but it's a solid game that offers very good value.
The review sounds as if it was written by somewhere who played the Demo (not as good as the game itself, by the way) and perhaps a few missions from the Game. It's hardly possible to know this game adequately, upon short acquaintance. There's no indication from the review that the game was completed, even in its main missions.
I found one entire level where my X...
As the article outlines, getting a house (free) in Canneroc is the best way to deal with the game's storage issue. Amaulur is a game full of STUFF and it quickly becomes a problem.
You can get the Canneroc house fairly early in the game -- and upgrade it at modest cost.
I have never had to pay more than $40 per year for my Gold Membership (thanks to Amazon sales) and i get plenty of value for my $3.25 per month.
It's around the price of one coffee per month (Americano, Vente) from Starbucks.
What's all the fuss about? Jeeesh!
Either/or...either/or.... what a limited way of thinking.
Those who truly love all that video games have to offer say: Both/and...
personally i expect that services such as OnLive to have an impact upon how
well future consoles will do in the marketplace. Gaming, like so much else, is changing ...
No PS3 game has ever needed a patch -- not even Skyrim?
How old are you?
I decided not to be concerned any more with Deus Ex issues or pseudo-issues.
Traded my game and got very little for it ($22.95; Gamestop; Paid $59.95 originally.)
Can't recall playing a game that depreciated so much, so quickly.
If the boss battles were not developed by Eidos, as this article states, it makes me wonder all the more who was it that decided that such anachronistic sections were necessary for DE:HR?
If boss battles were necessary, they could have been much more imaginative (and in keeping with one's character) than the current ones are...
As the game is not yet released officially, the rating of Gears 3 is not fixed in stone.
It's current Metacritic rating is based on the first batch of fifty-five reviews.
Of course, this article should be headed: "the lack of good manners when playing online. There's no lack of bad manners.
Perhaps the solution is to host multiplayer games yourself and make it clear that you are not looking to be infested with bottomfeeding players who have speech and personality disorders.
In Multiplayer, the bad often drive out the good; and no one, as yet, has figured out a way for serious players to meet one...
