Isn't a game like Bastion 1200 points in both Canada and the U.S.?
(leaving aside the fact that, at present, the Canadian dollar is the stronger of the two.)
1200 points makes me more careful about game purchases.... i am waiting to see a demo of From Dust before I choose between it and Bastion. Can't afford both... and that's OK.

I have all 1400 achievement points for L.A. Noire -- I always try to complete Rockstar games in full.
I had no particular problem with the badges or film reels; there was one vehicle that proved elusive for a while but I found a way to make it spawn.

Bought the Rockstar Pass and find the extra content to be worthwhile. (There's another DLC due mid-July called "Reefer Madness"; it, too, is part of the Rockstar Pass package.)
The review could be more perceptively written -- the last two trophy/achievements in this DLC are quite challenging!

XBox is adding Skype to make phone calls...all three consoles offer music and movies... and just because Apple refreshes its products (on average once a year) in order to stay abreast of developments doesn't mean that people are forced to buy the latest upgrade. Would you rather have a console that remains the same for 5 or more years? Well, if so, that's your choice.... but technology will advance nonet...
I didn't spend time on documenting the "trend" of video game sales because as a regular reader here at n4G i thought the figures were well known.

It could be that the booming sales of mobile games -- and the current weakening for console games -- are related. So Apple doesn't have to be on the same playing field as Microsoft and Sony to have an effect upon those companies.
