I very seriously doubt that most of you have the eye to tell the difference between 30 and 60fps to be honest. Especially with the little gameplay that they showed, it doesn't look any slower than DMC4 or any other DMC right now. You'd have to really get into the action and have both the 30 and 60fps games right there in front of you to see the difference.
InTheLab,
Tomb Raider was not trash with the last reboot they did with Legend and Anniversary and Underworld. They weren't the best but they certainly weren't trash, particularly Legend.
The DMC games is only 4 games deep, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't time for a reboot. What makes you or anyone else the authority to say that it doesn't need a reboot? When sales aren't up to par you have to go back to the drawing board and do so...
They changed her looks, backstory, and her combat skills too. Yet no one has a problem with that, why? Lara Croft is surely more iconic than Dante is, so why isn't Squaresoft getting an earful from the fans of that series? It's because the fans trust what they are doing no matter the changes made to the story, character, or her combat skills. I wish the DMC fans would do the same.
I'm interested to see what all of the naysayers are going to say when the game turns out to be bad ass and not what they expected it to be at all. I say give it a try regardless of what they've changed or haven't changed, just TRY IT before you bad mouth it. It's certainly not going to kill you and I hate, hate, hate when fans act like they know what's best just because they've played the games for years. You don't know what's best if they are going for a diffe...
It's a cool feature but why does the game look so ugly?
Well I don't see anyone saying this about Grand Theft Auto 4 and Red Dead Redemption. Those games share the same engine so why can't this game share a fantastic game engine with Heavenly Sword?
Heavenly Sword is a fantastic game and i'm excited to hear that this game will play similarly as well as retaining the old Devil May Cry style too. HS didn't have the greatest combat but it was FLUID as hell and I loved how the animations looked in that game, it felt bad ass to take on 3 or more people at a time in that game.
For the people that say that HS was sluggish or unresponsive, it didn't have the best response times but that's why it's called &qu...
I didn't see it mentioned so I guess I'll say it. Keeping it short and sweet all I'll say is that people are complaining about how difficult it is to port to and develop for the PS3 but what they fail to realize or talk about is how Sony has ALWAYS done this!
PS1's engine was incredibly more difficult to develop for than it's competitors. This is a known fact, but that didn't stop developers from learning it and creating great games did it?

Resistance 2 was marketed virally, it got massive reception market-wise. Uncharted 2 and Resistance 2 had spots in actual movie trailers, I ran across them when I watched several movies the year those games came out. So I wouldn't say that Sony doesn't market their games as good as Microsoft does.
Again, Halo 3 alone is the ONLY game that is massive when it comes to sells for the Xbox 360. EVERY other exclusive for Xbox 360 has a match when it comes to high sells on t...
That doesn't even make sense Xander756.
Isn't this gravy? I see a lot of ignorant comments on here all the time, but this is the worse. Since when does selling 6 million copies of 2 games make it bad? Since when does myriad Xbox 360 games sell more than PS3 games? I just don't get that. I wish to God that people would stop quoting VGChartz because they are WRONG in every way possible! They are usually off by 2m units or more and that's not factual information at all to share when arguing these things.

I don't think Agent is going anywhere at all unless Sony agrees that it does. It's a Sony paid game much in the same vain as Insomniac's Resistance series, that means that Sony owns the IP to it, not Insomniac and not Rockstar with Agent.
Sony is just getting Rockstar to make the game for them, this is NOT Rockstars' own developed game, this is Sony's money and Sony's IP and I don't think they'll give it up that easily.
I'm pretty sure she won't be moaning for the entire game people! C'mon get real!
@No_Pantaloons:
You do realize that's the beginning of the game and in no way reflects what the entire games' experience will be like, right?
She may only scream in just that beginning part like that, she may not be as vocal as you think. The game CERTAINLY isn't any more linear than Uncharted 2 or any other game in this genre. As far as I have read about it, it's not linear at all, it's quite open and you can't really go by that from ...
@Peaceful__Jelly:
I'd just like to say that you should play Tomb Raider Legend and Underworld, they both had cinematic gameplay and Legend came out BEFORE Uncharted ever did.
There are some elements in Uncharted that are borrowed from Tomb Raider too. It's not all "in your face" it's more nuanced and subtle but it's there. Furthermore, I'd like to say that Underworld was a much better game than Uncharted 1 was, although that gam...
It does look brilliant BakedGoods! I can't wait till this game comes out!
@SnukaTheMan, they call it a "sim" because that's exactly what it is, regardless of how many cars that don't have premium options or crash details, when behind the wheel of each car it is ALL about simulation and realism.
The devs were obviously more ambitious than their work and time would actually allow for them to be. I'm quite sure that either through continuous updates or another edition of the game, ALL cars will have crash details and premium sta...
Basically what happened here was that the writer of the "article" just took what Car And Magazine wrote about Forza 3 and GT5 and used it out of context to make it appear that they were saying that Forza 3 is better than GT5 overall.
That's clearly not the case here and it's even stated in the article itself, "When it came time to choose an overall winner, Car and Driver gave the edge to GT5 for its all-encompassing depth, calling it "peerlessly c...
So what if his family isn't featured in the games? How does that HURT the film in anyway? How does that tarnish Uncharted because he wants to feature Nathan Drake's family?
I guess you're pissed about the story not being the same in the novels that are coming out as well, right? And the comic book too because it's a totally different story than the first two games.
Uh why not? Games can do that you know? Take you on a journey through flashbacks? Flash forwards? Stop with your backwards thinking and get over yourself, this game can be just as good as the older Max Payne games and I think it will be. The story can take all kinds of twists and turns and a one and a half minute trailer isn't going to show you that, naturally. There ARE pics of him in NYC just to shut you up too, so yeah, I DO think that Rockstar can mislead us into thinking that we'...
