When you're creating games you never want to alienate your fans and make games too difficult just because you think a select few are going to enjoy that type of experience. You want your games to be accessible to any and everyone to be able to enjoy. Even the creators of Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls understand this and have some level of difficulty where their notoriously difficult games aren't that difficult.

Sometimes you have to streamline controls to make things w...

@Bigpappy,

That's asking for the same difference though. You want every game to feel the exact same in difficulty. How is that any different than saying you literally want the same game over and over again? The difficulty of the games aren't that much easier, you're just older and have been playing this genre for a long time now probably.

The genre has to redefine itself, it cannot stay stagnant the way you want forever. That would be redundant. ...

Highly doubt it's multiplatform at this point. Sony is funding the game so I don't think they'd do that to them twice now haha. I can't wait to see some more info on the game though, and to see the faces of people and read the remarks on here when it's still a PS3/PS4 exclusive.

You just described 99% of games that are made. No game gives you the freedom you want, unless it's a hack of course. Any game you play you are doing exactly what is set for you to be able to do, there are very few games that are designed so that the playtesters or the designers themselves haven't thought of it themselves, very few.

Yeah, you kind of are being a blind fanboy. Sony stated they'd never charge for being able to play your games online! They still haven't charged for that and won't ever charge for it. They are charging for playing multiplayer online.

The DRM was never for PS4 discs, can you prove that with the patent? I don't care what the patent states, it never mentions PS4, it could be for PS6 or PS7 for all we know, or for Blu-Ray players/discs for movies instead.

Gee, how did you react to Max Payne 3 being announced in 2003? 2012 release? How did you feel about LA Noire, announced in 2005? Came out in 2010? What about Red Dead Redemption? Originally announced in 2004? Came out in 2010. Grand Theft Auto V, announced in 2010, coming out in 2013. So I guess you cared about none of those? Or was it when they got closer to their release dates?

LA Noire was the 2007 title actually. 2009 was the first announcement they ever made about Agent.

DOM, I'm pretty sure that Sony wouldn't sign ANOTHER deal with Rockstar just so that they can go on and let it go to MS/PC just because they felt like it. With Sony paying for the production that ensures them that Rockstar wouldn't be able to do something like that. And I didn't realize that they hadn't updated Sony with any information, how did you find out that they didn't?

They probably have, just because we haven't heard anything doesn't m...

I bet you were saying the same thing for Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, and LA Noire too right? All of those games have two things in common with Agent. They were all heavily regarded as "vaporware" and they are all made by Rockstar.

Max Payne 3 was announced sometime in 2003 I believe? LA Noire in 2005, Red Dead Redemption in 2004, those games weren't released until quite a few years later and people were saying they "didn't exist" too.

How could it be "multiplat" if Sony's paying for the development? It's not like Rockstar is paying for it. They don't own the title, Sony does. Just like Insomniac doesn't own Resistance, Sony does. Do you think Resistance and Ratchet and Clank are coming to Xbox becaiuse Insomniac are now working with Microsoft as well?

Well when you start using Stone Cold's likeness to your advantage and you start earning millions of dollars from bearing his resemblance without his say so, then come back and tell us if Stone Cold's and WWE's good old Lawyers didn't open up a can of legal whoop ass lawsuits on ya and walked'em dry? Lol.

Except your friends' cousin doesn't go around pretending she's Ellen Page's lookalike making millions of dollars off of her image, does she? What is it that people cannot understand about how this could affect someone famous? Their likeness, their image, IS their livelihood, it is how they make their money.

If someone just came in and stole your job from you and didn't pay you but told you, "what? You should appreciate me doing all of this work for you...

There was an inherent "risk" when Rocksteady was making the very first Arkham Asylum game. No one had hardly ever heard of them, they were taking on this huge character, and they got it to work. So what's wrong with another dev, who works very closely with Rocksteady, mind you, taking on the franchise and further developing a great story and characters? It's not like they are taking it and spinning it completely around, it's fundamentally the same thing as before.

I can argue with you that it's the same. Remedy felt that Rockstar lived up to their expectations and knew what a Max Payne game was all about too. You're not the only one to have played Max Payne 1, 2, and 3 you know? I have too, and I can argue that Max Payne's character development was exactly where it should be in this game, he's a mess and he always has been.

BiggCman, I'm SO glad you feel that way, I do too! Ugh! Lol, with that being said though, I'm glad he's back so the fans can be happy.

Did you not read what was above? There was 5 years in between Rockstar announcing Max Payne 3 from them even saying it existed in 2009. Without a single screenshot or anything "tangible" to say it existed. Same thing with LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption, and GTA4 and 5 as well. They just take forever showing and releasing their games and we know why, because they are perfecting it.

And no, you're wrong. Red Dead had nothing more than an announcement. And this Agen...

That's not going to happen. Sony is funding this game. That's like saying that Resistance can suddenly now be on Xbox since the devs are creating games for multiplat now. If Sony is giving Rockstar money to make them an exclusive game, it will remain exclusive. The ONLY way this game would see another console other than a Sony one is if Sony stops funding it and takes its' money out of it and Rockstar continues developing it with their own money.

Thank you!

That clip wasn't meant to show off GAMEPLAY it was meant to show off the cinematic qualities of the game, limited gameplay was what they were going for here, "get from point A to point B, cinematic cutscene w/interactivity" but that doesn't mean that's ALL the game is though.

Afterall, you wouldn't really want to show off a video games' GAMEPLAY at a FILM festival now would you? That's like Hollywood going to E3 a...

You silly lol. The graphics don't look dated at all. That's just the quality of the video that's all. If you look at certain shots though, oh man, it looks REAL. I couldn't believe the textures of everything, it looks like a really good looking game.

No problem @ZeroCrossing, I was hoping you wouldn't take anything I said personally, and as the good person I know you are, you didn't. Thanks for that. You understood what I meant by "tad ignorant" and by "you have no idea..." some people would've literally thought I was saying that they were just ignorant an didn't know anything.

Anywho, I understand why you'd feel that way about Heavy Rain and this game. SOMETIMES, you DO have to act...
