It's nothing about being bitter or irrelevance.Warner Bros Interactive have been dicks about their review copies for a long time, Shadow of Mordor was even worse where they actually approached some reviewers to review their game only as a paid promotion, if you did agree to the terms then you would not of got a review copy, regardless fhat the game was good.
I really don't worry about Forbes, it's more about WB being idiots they way they handle their review copie...
It will hurt those indies that put out trash but label their games as "games". The only ones bitching about this would those indie devs. This can only be a good thing. Also if AAA developers put out buggy games this policy would certainly benefit the consumers who otherwise be burnt.

What silly excuses. There is nothing wrong with dlc IF done correctly. When it seems you are getting a lesser package than the previous version and bs preorder nonsense to get Goro when he is already an iconic character just to incentive early purchasers without knowing how the final product will be. If you can't see that as a negative trend then you're just a lost cause.

You mean where MS had a promotion where you could choose a free game with purchase of the console, and that free game counted as a sale, where PS4 had bundled copies of Destiny and doesn't count as sales towards the game's sales. That was back in September.
As of now Destiny has about 4.6 million global sales on the ps4, and 2.5 million on the Xbox One. It only outsold on the 360 over the ps3 with 1.5 million and 1.3 million respectively.

Like Nintendo Oyajis, you don't get it. It is not purely for the money. Some of the most hated companies get it: EA, Ubisoft and Activision and some even pay well know personalities for game exposure because they can grab an audience that has would never in the first place contemplate of purchasing the game.

There would probably be support for the franchise if Konami wasn't well.....Konami. Regardless of who will get to produce the next MGS, they will still treat their creative staff with contempt and let's face it farm out the game to any development studio that will make it on the cheap like they did with Silent Hill.
