Right, because being paid off for positive reviews and comments are so great! Let's pay off some well knowns so they can influence their fans to pick up a mediocre game. You got to wonder why EA keeps getting ranked in the worst company poll.
Wouldn't it be better to spend said money on actually making the game better, oh wait that's what the $50 season pass is for.
@Battleaxe and mark_parch:
Maybe Japanese gamers don't need to invest in a dying system in their territory and seeing as the game is timed exclusive they certainly can play it at another point. Honestly seeing as Fallout 4 and Battlefront just came out, nobody is missing on anything at this point, everyone has something to play without sounding like console elitist boneheads.
If people are going to spend money with microtransaction and companies making bags of money week in and out, then review scores mean nothing to them.
Also it is pretty shitty to open any AAA game to microtransactions at a later date. It is not a fair reflection of what was the final review. Changing any scores now is meaningless. These companies know exactly what they're doing and could care less about its user base.
Yes, let the Nintendo fanboy take offence to something they thought they regard but wasn't in my comment. Where did I say "lacking content". Don't imply something or interpret things different.
All the content of the games I mentioned are locked behind figures you buy to maximise the content that is already on the disc. Amiibos less so and less intrusive compared to others like skylanders and infinity.
Next time read properly and not what yo...
Yes they do, just look at the trend skylanders set. Now we have Disney Infinity and Amiibos and seeing how quick some of the popular figures sellout then go for crazy prices on eBay, then yes a lot of people buy it.
I certainly wouldn't call it junk. What I do find annoying is all the content of a game is locked behind toys. That certainly is not dlc, just a scam.
Asking a question about a one horse race. It is pretty obvious!
It's a platform for shovelware.
Nothing to do with it being a"Sony product", I played previous versions of fallout on PC and there were quite a few issues on that platform. Problem is AAA games being released in such states with developers/publishers deciding to patch the game later on regardless of platform.
....and with this kind of justification is what publishers want because it gives them carte blanch to push even more microtransactions on fully priced titles.
Worried about it being on a specific platform with issues, or just the game in general?
I take it that is probably the game in general from the statements mentioned, but the title makes it too clickbaity.
"Devastating", did somebody die?
Oh, like the same way Castlevania didn't need Koji Igarashi, like Suikoden didn't need Murayama and Kuwano..... let your creative heads that made what Konami WAS, then they deserve all the blame when their IPs go pear-shaped.
Well let's see if future MGS titles will hold up, but I am in doubt
How naive, they will charge $100 and still use shady practices like season passes and ripped content to sell as DLC if they could.
Having a $100 as a rounded up figure means nothing, regardless on the amount publishers will always "creative" ways to make as much money as possible as fast as possible.
We all knew this was going to happen. Their managing of their gaming division has been a joke for a long time now and they want out and make easy money with free mobile games loaded with in-app purchases and gaming themed pachinko machines.
I love PES16 demo but wi get it second hand as well as MGSV, and I don't want to hear that bollocks of buy the game new to support Kojima. Any money made on the game goes to Konami, Kojima and his team were paid to make the game. Hence...
It's the BBC, don't expect much!
The numbers do matters regardless of happy customers. It is big business, and market penetration. You think just a few consumers being happy, but minuscule sales are enough to satisfy a board of executives? More fool you.
Could care less about your agrees or disagrees, you just seem to have a chip on your shoulder.
And yes, there are games to play on said other system that seems to be selling in spades with "no games to play", just because there are...
I would take the "retarded" comments with a pinch of salt. It took a while for developers to get to know the ps3's architecture but eventually many devs could release games on parity with the 360 , although it did take time.
The issue I have now is with the current gen, which have similar hardware, so why is that with all the major upgrades since the PS3 and 360 we are seeing titles that are released broken and shoddy frame rates? It is definitely not the hardwa...
There has been other MGS games that were console specific and not exclusively for the PS, to think that is was just a PS exclusive is naive. It's a stupid question so they can get some fanboys to support or rage about it.
Kojima and his studio got paid to make the game and that studio is done, and the game it is basically done. The money made from the game is going to Konami, it is not going to hurt Kojima at all in that aspect, but it will hurt where it hurts the most, sales and at this point it's Konami's fault.
There will be 2 outcomes, first and most likely is that it will sale well which is a reflection and support for Kojima and his team. The second is that it will sell averagely...
I think EA is hilarious, $50 for a seasons pass. Let alone the pricing of the digital deluxe version of the game.
I have no problem with any company making money, but EA has clearly overpriced the game for what it is. It has less content than previous SW:BF games. They are cashing in on nostalgia and know people will buy into it.
