Oh FFS! Of course the PC version will come on top. It offers so much more options. Yes both look great, but if your PC can handle 4k, guess what? It's going to look better.
I'm sorry what? So you're saying if games ran at a constant 60fps @ 1080 that would justify a higher price, when some games already run @60/1080.
Maybe if developers tried putting graphical options into their console games for either lower graphical fidelity with higher frame rates, or increased fidelity at a stable 30 which the Last of Us did. Even the Division on console added some neat graphical options. Let hope other developers follow. More options can only be a...
It is obvious, they don't. But the matter is the game isn't tied down to a single platform anymore. So, there is more choice. Even if it isn't for the PS4 and Wii U.And let's face it, even if it was planned to be multiplatform you honestly think it would get a Wii U release? Last I checked Nintendo paid some third party developers to make some exclusive games for their platform.
Because it isn't console exclusive. The chances of core gamers having a console and PC is high. Just saying
Doom 1 and 2 were hardly horror in the sense that it was scary. It was a action packed shooting gore fest. Doom 3 tried to add some atmosphere to the horror and kind of succeeded. I think the writer has some rose tinted glasses on.
Video game adaptation never live up to the movie.
You can get lost with that logic. X amount of hours doesn't equal how much a game should cost.
If any company had a monopoly on anything it would be a disaster.
The question should be, how high was the writer when the article was being written?
The shortest game that I felt completely satisfied paying full prices was vanquish. That is a lesson in gameplay mechanics, if you can make a game fun, refreshing and exciting to play, even after multiple times, you know you're doing something right.
The Order was nothing more than of a glorified playable tech demo. If they had spent more time with the gameplay, mechanics and story instead of visuals it could of been good.
Relying on QTEs and a "boss...
Monster strike and puzzle dragon the 2 biggest. In 2013 puzzle dragon was making $3mil a day in Japan alone. Monster strike which came soon after is just a popular and both are still rolling on the money.
All game developers are chasing the mobile market. Easier to develop for, lower costs
Saw Jesse Cox playing this on his Fan Friday's. I wasn't expecting much, but was I wrong. Very misleading game title for what the game is. I will definitely be picking it up just to see what happens.
So you're saying you are a 30fps cinematic console peasant kinda person.
That's too much of a generalisation. Unless the world is connect to same currency and circumstances then I guess you would have a point.
There are factors that can contribute to piracy. I don't condone it, but there are certainly reasons for it.
Demographics play a huge part. Having access to games in one region where it would never be in another region. Regions charging over the odds. Sometimes poorer countries get charged excessively higher because ...
I think Fifa 16 uses the same protection. People still crying for the crack.
Well your statement does hold some merit, where CD Projekt supports DRM free gaming, but they make good games and take time to deliver and have generally been good to the gaming community and their fans. I think that is why gamers support them.
Companies like EA, WB, Ubisoft an Konami which have all used denuvo to protect their games recently, these publishers already have bad blood between them and the community, so adding this makes them look more like an enemy. Even though...
Meet the reality of what? That the shots aren't bullshots? Because they would never do that.
So what about the pre alpha build looking great at E3. Of course it will look good at E3. The same reason why watchdog at e3 looked phenomenal, but the final build was average in comparison
Just look at Star Wars Galaxies and realise that they don't give a damn what consumers think.
Thanks for the heads up, looking forward to trying it. Was surprised to see the demo of Crypt of the Nercodancer on the JP store as well. Looking forward to trying them both when I get home.
So underdeveloped and MS and third party developers couldn't make it work. It has been tried and tested on the 360, PC and Xbox One. There is no excuse. They had to use a Star Wars theme to shift units and even then games were awful.
The kinect is so good it went from mandatory to being optional on the xbox one so MS could shift console units.
The kinect is so good it ruined Steel Battalion and Dragonball Z.
It was so good it gave us Son...
