Because $350 wasn't the ballpark figure and we have on idea the pricing of PSVR.
All the details are in the article. Short answer is yes.
Is facebook integration really that important to you?
Put that nonsense away. The game was farmed out to weak third party developer. Regardless of how high spec any system is, if a game isn't optimised it will run bad,look bad, bugs, etc....
Rather than aim that crap at the mythical elitists, it's the developers and publishers who are at fault.
So the excuse is because the PC version was handled by a 3rd party developer. Rather than try to fix the broken mess and improve on the product they abandon it. I don't play fighting games on the PC, but this is not right. I wonder if there are even any quality check done when third party developers are contracted? Oh, never mind, we can patch the hell out of the game once release unless we don't want to, but we've got your money already anyway, thanks!
I am glad ...
Potato-potato,
That's because the microtransactions are changed to dlc. Read the full statement. All they are doing is not implementing a in game microtransaction system but able to buy individual items through first party stores.
How much vanity items impact the game, I don't really know and selling skins doesn't matter with overall impact. I look forward to see the reviews of the game and trying the beta to make a decision.
Might as well cast doubt on all future titles. We will never how good until review embargo have passed and reviewed. Preview events tend to put positive spin on titles, giving small samples of the game. But l really hope No Man's Sky will deliver what they promise.
The game is good hookong you in, but earning characters are painful and a monotonous chore. Even buying packs with actual money won't give you full characters. You get shards of a character. With the actual cool characters being 80 shards, prepRe to spend a lot of grind for weeks. If you have no qualms about spending real world money you'll have fun because you can buy complete characters at a premium, otherwise enjoy the grind of trying to unlock.
It's pure pay t...
Blizzard will probably sell the Tracer figure as a separate figure on its store as a premium item.
No, happens when a developer tries to create hype around a game, but showing off the game on completely different hardware secretly.
When developers show off games that look super spectacular visually, but the release is miles away or no actual estimation set then people shouldn't get their hopes up. Once closer to release with preview builds, running on the actual platforms they intend to sell the game on then people should take note.
Shows like E3 are there to create hype behind many future titles. You are better off at PAX.
@wellyUK,
Stupid comparison, Dota and CS are free games. Their business model rely on microtransactions. You expect free games to make money from nothing?
AAA games with microtransactions have no place. Yeah sure it's only skins or cosmetics....for now. Once everyone becomes comfortable with that you can bet they will start charging for actual content that impacts games.
Impact on the games or not, the fact the Ubisoft seems to be putting...
Amount of content doesn't mean adoption rate, big difference. Yes, it is easier to to distribute on Steam, hence the lack of actual curation on its store.
Also of course there will be more content on the rift or vive as they are open platforms to work with.
Meanwhile screwing potential customers because their logistics seem to be in nonsensical. In a recent AMA Palmer was asked why there seems to be US tax as well as Australian tax if Australian customers want to purchase a unit as well as $130 shipping charges when they have a warehouse in Australia already.
Plus adding a Xbox controller adds to the cost which I think people don't want. At have the option of bundling.
It's an opinion piece, that's all.
Here's a tip, post processing which the emulation hasremoves the jaggy lines. So yes they look better and also perform better.
Unless you know better than digital foundry...but you don't!
@Gaming_Cousin,
You would be surprised, I work in Japanese schools and lots of students talk about games with me. A lot of the younger gamers are keen on Western games now such as BF and COD, but I would say more are interested and play Minecraft, due to famous Japanese youtuber, Hikakin playing the game who is basically the Japanese Pewdie Pie.

Remember Sony suing the hell out of now defunct super popular importer of games, consoles, anime and merch LikSang years ago, finally getting them shutdown.
Then threatening Play-Asia if they sold playstation consoles, in Europe restricting them to Asian markets.
Yeah, a corporation would never sue youtubers if they had the chance. It already easy to get copyright strikes an claims on youtube videos.
Look at Nintendo, don't anyone dare le...
@shloobmm3,
Well that could be the case, but I could see such cases being thrown out of court. The term "let's play" has been synonymous with youtubers and also twitch to a level long before if the term was trademarked.
It's too much of a douche move to try, after clawing back the market to high the playstation brand is riding this gen, it would be simply stupid if that was the case...but I wouldn't put it past them or any company.
That would be spot on. I don't have a problem paying for a ps2 game I don't own and want to play. The option to put in a pa2 game you already own and play it through the ps4 by emulation would be a fantastic.
Also I think the headline is misleading. The emulation is just an option and not a primary function or reason to own the hardware. As long the ps4 sells well for current generation then the option to purchase and play ps2 games wi be there. It's simply anothe...
