Gamebryo should've been retired already, so i'm not sure why they're keeping that ancient engine around. If Bethesda uses that for another game, then don't expect much improvement for the next game.
I can see the same thing happening with this game. The MP is going to get old fast, then people will move on to their favourite MP games again. It remains to be seen if Bioware can create a complete game again, now that they've been exposed to EA.
It's a new game, but probably not in the vein that you remember it by.
If you take a look at the mods people have made, it's well beyond what Bethesa could think of.
Fallout 4 with an engine that's actually new? That's too much to hope for. :P
Hmm, i didn't know Wasteland 2 is out on the 19th. Shadow of Mordor is probably going to be a discounted title, considering the Season Pass.
Actual expansions / DLC used to be expanding the game, not at the beginning or the middle, but at the end of the game. Shivering Isles is one example.
I've seen something off about plenty of things over the years, but each time someone told to put on the tinfoil hat. Just because other people are blind to it, doesn't mean that i am as well.
This whole thing is just a ticking bomb, and i hope it blows up in their face. The reason this has been allowed to go on for so long, is because too many people have been like 'whatever' with the industry.
This just keeps getting worse. More people bending over backwards to the SJW propaganda, even developers.
The industry needs a good shake, that's for sure.
Even if Claire does return, i'm not that hopeful for another Revelations. It was mostly just a run and gun game, in all honesty.
Not to mention all those loading screens, which they disguised poorly.
It shouldn't take too long to beat Batman, but Witcher 3 on the other hand..i hope you buy some snacks.
RE4 was the beginning of its Downfall. It was a good game in its own right, but it wasn't a good RE gsme.
My memory is not always amazing, but with that said, i don't think the list of memorable female protagonists is that long.
Motoko Kusanagi from Ghosts In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex is not that bad looking either.
Activision is actually not as bad as EA, believe it or not. At least their games aren't half as broken.
Somehow i find that hard to believe, considering how much money they spent on saving themselves from Vivendi.
I do wonder though, how much could a deal like this be worth?
Heh, i still remember the origin of DMC. I'm glad that a RE game turned into something else entirely, because it was ahead of time with creating a faster paced genre.
+1 to no Nintendo. Hell, it should be any 3rd party company worth a damn. That excludes Square Enix, of course.
Capcom has been terrible with adapting to the HD advancements, so yeah, i agree that they haven't moved with the times. Unless they truly get their heads out of the sand, and let Itsuno work his magic on DMC 5, then they're pretty much dead as it is.
Resident Evil? I doubt they know what to do with that anymore.
Maximo could make a return as well, but i don't know.
After giving it some thought, i believe you've lost your mind. Multiplatform titles going exclusive, that's the worst case scenario for any fanbase. Only the company owning it benefits from it. Supporting a game regardless of platform, that's BS that businesses loves to hear.
Platinum Games may be great, but it's not the right fit for it at all. Itsuno is still with Capcom, and he's the only one capable of creating a great DMC game currently.
I don't think Human Revolution had a chance against the original Deus Ex. Sure, the graphics were nicer, but that's it.
It's rare to see articles like this on N4G, and it only seems to scratch the surface of it.
First of all, i'm not even a fan of the action approach to their latest games. If i wanted an action approach, then i would be playing Tales games instead.
Squeenix is still having trouble with adapting to the HD age, and the evidence is in the last generation. Focusing more on pretty graphics in cutscenes, instead of a nice blend with story, gameplay and open world as well.
I'm not sure what's happening at Squeenix, honestly, and Capcom is suffer...
