Meanwhile, Breaking Point, an Arma 3 mod is further along in development than DayZ. That's quality development right there, Brian.

I do think that Claire needed more spotlight, but Capcom is unable to create these games anymore. For some reason they have to shoehorn co-op in, even as a forced companion.

They could at least get the hint, that it should be a seperate mode.

The way GOG handles ownership is what i'd like to see Steam and other platforms do. The reality is though, that it's unlikely to happen.

If WB begins to use this exclusively for their games, then i'm unlikely to buy them.

How would you make a sequel to a prequel?

I'm glad the option was there to remove the yellow haze, because it had a much cleaner look after that.

The combat was never a main thing for me to use, because i typically stealthed through it. The initial boss battles was a poor addition as well. I do think not only facial animations were weird, but the bodies in general had problems.

It's a good game, but i still prefer the first one, by a long shot.

Prey 2 is not cancelled, but it's currently unknown what Arkane Austin is doing with it. It'll probably take some time before we see it, because they're starting from scratch.

I can't say i ever trusted any reviews, mainly because i made up my mind from what i saw before release. Then there are games from developers which i trust, so i already know i'm getting a complete product.

CDPR is one of those developers.

Fish should Stick to the prison for the remainder of his miserable life. That way he can't poison the outside again.

I can't say i feel sorry for him.

Yeah, if this is what to expect from this generation, then i don't find it too inspiring.

Seems like Breaking Point has progressed much more, but unfortunately, DayZ is still the most popular one.

Yeah, i think it's safe to say that you didn't play the game enough to do that.

Vergil was definitely interesting on DMD, but i thought Arkham was simple enough.

I also disagree with Vanquish, unless you played Godhard mode or the challenge mode.

No, Horror games can't co-operate. As soon as you throw in another player, or a forced AI companion throughout the game, the feeling is gone. If it's designed with co-op in mind, you immediately lose the tension, and the atmosphere will have little to no effect either.

Revelations was just another run and gun game as well, so i disagree that it was a good return. RE4 was a good game, but it was a bad Resident Evil game. The babysitting with Ashley wasn't until lat...

The Bioware strikes back..sounds like a bad Star Wars line. :P

Obviously, they're not going to win much back.

Hmm, seems like my GTX 680 still has a bit of longer life. :)

I'll wait until the real performance differences start to show.

A June release date? That can't be right, games are supposed to release early or late in the year. You're supposed to fill up only a few months, instead of spreading out the games. /s

The problem was exactly that, playing with a friend, because the game was designed around it.

4189d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's always a slippery slope when you add co-op to Horror, and Capcom fell right into the trap of ruining a franchise.
Dead Space fell right into that trap as well, by forcing co-op.

But i do blame that on RE4 instead, because they thought people wanted more action instead.

Having grown up in the 90's, i can without a doubt say that i miss gaming before it became so mainstream. There may not have been so many gullible people playing games, but it was certainly a more pure experience. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

With that said, it saddens me to see how easily people accept mediocrity, and i've taken a stand myself by not supporting companies with my wallet.

The Gaming Media is currently so rotten to...

Not long now, until people notice that Destiny is another Watch Dogs. The hype is strong, but the crash is also more damaging.
