I wonder what makes this game jump from 25 minimum, to 40 GB recommended space, because that's quite a bit. Is there a texture package being released as well, or something?
The atmosphere just seems to be gone, and it's not even a bit scary. Not to mention the game still looks the same, compared to RE6 and Revelations.
Well, they need something to sell the game, it might as well be graphics.
Just saying that Mass Effect 2 is a bad example. It aliented the RPG players liking the first game.
What's causing the jump from 25 - 40 GB's from minimum to recommended?
No, you're certainly not the only one. This is just a sad hybrid of FF and KH.
Not exactly the best example, but at least he had hands on time with it. I'm still avoiding more videos of the game, because it'll just lessen the experience.
From what you've played already, would you say it's possible to save ammo / supplies for later, by skipping enemies like the old RE games?
Probably not my exact words, but pretty much this. I'm tired of many of the blockbuster offerings, not to mention the good value indie games are few in numbers. DLC and Microtransactions play a large role as well.
That's why i simply choose not to support those larger publishers anymore.
Bungie didn't misrepesent the game, but the gaming media did. Such as calling it an MMO, while it's not even close to being so.
Seems like a few developers know how to keep the budget low, while still making plenty of profit. Such as CDPR.
I know Bethesda spends astronomical amounts of money on inferior games, but i was pointing to Witcher 3. Witcher 3 is rumoured to be in the 20 - 25m range.
Holy crap, $50m? And they still wasted development on a inferior game, compared to the first one. Not even a massive RPG is costing that much to develop.
Why would a collection of games be contending for it? It's just old games being re-released, but with improvements.
If it does happen, then that's just another sad thing for gaming.
2014 has been a terrible year for games, that much is true. Most of the worthwhile titles were pushed to 2015 instead. I've only played a handful of games myself, including some OLD games from past years.
I've certainly saved a lot of money, while i've seen other people regretting their purchase of evidently terrible games. :P
So, now we're going to see multiple articles defending XV, even though the combat is looking clunky and sluggish. Not to mention the characters looks like they'll be on par with 13's, which is no compliment.
I hope Square is digging a hole deep enough for Final Fantasy.
I just recently played through Thief 1 and 2 (the ones worth playing) with mods, and it was actually pretty easy to setup. They're still enjoyable to this day.
Hmm, i noticed Tri-Ace, but then i also noticed Mobile. Yeah, that's a pass for me.
The game sold on hype alone, nothing else. People thought it was going to be another great game, hence the initial sales.
The evidence is in the later games, prove me otherwise. It was by far the worst they've released.
I don't see why Umbrella is evil. They're just misunderstood as a company of the people, with their best interests in mind.
