Play Tomb Raider 2013 on your ps3/360. Now play Tomb Raider Definitive Edition on your PS4/XB1. There is a significant jump in terms of graphics and it looks nicer. Yes that enhances the experience. Will be the same for the new game.
Yep. As a huge Tenchu fan myself I am enjoying this AC more than any other due to the similarities/new gameplay mechanics.
Would still love a Tenchu re-boot though.

Shame though because it is a really good game, much better than previous entries and a great setting.
Fallout 3 has aged pretty horribly in the graphics department. Great game, but be prepared for some ugly if you are yet to play it, the years have not been kind.
You should play it it's great, and the most stealth of any AC game so far. The setting is also fantastic, Victorian London looks amazing.

I think they have a Tenchu fan on the dev team. Addition of the grappling hook, a crouch/stealth button, and male and female characters(Rikimaru and Ayame anyone) are all Tenchu staples, and all enhance the experience.

Fantastic game, exceeded my expectations so far. Great setting and characters, beautiful graphics, nicely polished, and the zip line is a game changer.
I can very easily dismiss anything written by Polygon. They have absolutely no credibility. I'm sure them contradicting themselves is nothing new.

Remasters are hit and miss.
The TR definitive edition was a fantastic remaster though. The overall graphics were a big improvement with excellent textures, way more particle effects, a better character model/face for Lara.

TR reboot and TLOU are both last gen games with current gen remasters, so not quite sure what you mean? Guessing your misunderstood.

Funny how people keep comparing TR to ND. I love Uncharted and TLOU, and The Jak series but the TR reboot looked significantly better than TLOU graphics wise.

I'm excited to see what they show but find they usually over hype things so am keeping my expectations in check.
