As someone who does own both consoles here's some advice.
Just go play the reboot again, its better anyway. Then when you pick up Rise on ps4 you will get all the DLC added for free in the 'definitive edition'.
The game is great. Not as good as the reboot though. Although I really liked it I was expecting more and ended up a little disappointed.
Both have their advantages. PC's main downside is missing out on exclusives, for example The Last of Us, Uncharted series, Ratchet and Clank series, Bloodborne, various others over the years.
I think PC and a PS is a good combo as most xbox games come to PC so they kind of cancel each other out.
Definitely. Dark Souls 3 is looking promising too, though I think I'll miss the dash/dodge.
Yes definitely GOTY. Bloodborne is easily my favourite game on PS4 so far.
Beware disagrees ahead, but remember co-operator ;)
You have come to the right place (bows with deep respect).
Yep. Bloodborne is game of the year if..
You are in the know, right?
Enemy design, character, and combat all look awesome foe Nier Automata so far. Highly anticipated.
I share your concern. Worried this might be this generations Lair. Hope not.
Yes. Awesome game. I loved it. Great setting and world. Great car combat. Harpoon FTW.
Pure fun.
Yep, not a great start to 2016.
PS+ is definitely not what it was a couple of years ago on PS3 where you regularly got full retail games.
Agreed.
Mediocre.
I thought Bloodborne was awesome. GOTY for me.
Until Dawn was excellent and another GOTY nominee, if not winner.
The Order was really fun, great setting, interesting characters, and impressive graphics. It was too short, seemed like only half a game with no proper conclusion or ending and had a bunch of flaws. Still a solid 8/10 game though.
Also hugely improved graphics over the previous games.
The trick weapons, atmosphere, art design, and dodge really made it for me though.
Mine too. It is extremely addictive if you get into it.
Yeah, wish they would port these mods to ps4. I would go buy the game again for another playthrough if they did.
"The Japanese have such weird taste...Most of their top 5 games consisted of Japanese games..."???
Ummm...what?
Anyone who like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture should try reading some of John Wyndham's novels. Very similar vibe.
I would recommend The Midwich Cuckoos, The Kraken Wakes, or Day of the Triffids.
Shame there isn't an option to just buy the full-game for those who want to.
The game was fun but it lacked variety in locations. The majority of the game was set in the snow (though the snow was well done).
The reboot had more variety, and it was set on a small island!
