Pretty sure at least some of those actors might not want to see themselves evicerated in all the different fatalities. While it would be cool it's unlikely you would see those skins.
While I'm a long time fan of tekken and street fighter I'm more excited about the Marvel Vs DC game that Netherrealm will make for next gen.
I liked Metro Exodus, Days Gone, Resident Evil 2, Sekiro (but too many frustratingly hard difficulty spikes, the frames on the parry need to be more forgiving), and Death Stranding.
Jedi fallen order was good but flawed and I would have liked to try Disco Elysium but my pc is dead.
A very good list. Samarai Shodown and A Plague Tale are both great and I want to give Disco Elysium a try.
I am hoping Cyberpunk is about to do it again.
I like the world, creatures, graphics, gameplay. Zero interest in the boy band so gave up after a while.
I would like to see a return of the 'mini games'. Won't happen as the world seems to have lost its sense of humour and gone insanely pc but one can wish.
Except Mass Effect is actually good (the original trilogy).
The one review I have found for this game is not exactly glowing:
'This game fails at almost everything it sets out to do. With janky animations, embarrassing story, awful combat mechanics, and horrible enemy layouts and AI, there's just not much positive to say about it.'
Thanks for the warning won't bother clicking.
I'm generally against dlc as I don't think it offers good value in many cases. That said my favourite single player season passes would be Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, and Arkham Knight. All added heaps of quality content to the base games.
I think gamingbolt needs to stop pretending they are capable of any kind of unbiased or accurate graphics analysis. I enjoyed this game but it has plenty of flaws and is definitely not a technical showpiece. It's fun and captures the star wars atmosphere but very rough around the edges.
Blacksad just came out. Great source material, not sure how it turned out though. Looks a bit rough.
Some more good ones:
Jade from Beyond Good and Evil.
Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw.
2B from Neir Automata.
Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.
Kat from Gravity Rush.
Nariko from Heavenly Sword.
Senua from Hellblade.
Just finished it. I think it's a solid 8 or 8.5. Really fun with some great moments but lacks polish and doesn't have the same detail or depth as other similar games like God of War, Uncharted, or Tomb Raider (probably had a smaller budget and less development time).
Still great though, hopefully it does well as I would like to play a sequel.
Me too, loved Days Gone. The Death stranding BB fuel tank is an amazing crossover. Will be using it on my NG+ playthrough when I get to it.
Unfortunately a lot of sad, angry, and lonely people out there. Hating things gives them something in common to bond over and makes them feel part of a group. Also gives them some attention so they don't feel invisible. Plus a bit of catharsis as there would be a degree of envy as they are not able to play the game, and finally there are the bandwagoners. Adds up to a whole lot of negativity.
I think the game is brilliant.
I think it is a bit like the movie Blade Runner 2049 (which I love). It is long, has a deliberate pace, and is not all action being a little more cerebral. The atmosphere is palpable with stellar visual and sound design, and there is a constant sense of discovery and mystery. 30hrs in and this will likely be my GOTY.
Mild spoiler:
BB does something else very unexpected if you keep checking on it and interacting with Square in your room. Kind of a bit like Norman punching the camera if you do certain things.
Exactly. Game is fantastic. The continual new mechanics, upgrades, and gadgets, new terrain/environments, and intriguing story packaged with just phenomenal art design, graphics, sound, and music make this an easy GOTY contender for me (will decide once I finish it).
I'm only on chapter 3 about 12hrs in but from what I've played so far it is my GOTY. It just keeps getting better the more I play. The atmosphere is fantastic.
Yep. Not going to bother reading this article as the author is either click-baiting, ignorant, or is of questionable intellect.
