Very smooth animations, nice fighter details and the footwork was especially well done.
Looks wonderful.
Nice twist on a shooter.
True, but will you buy the games by themselves or go with Gamepass? Either way you ultimately pay Xbox.
@ iplay1up2 They have broken so many launch dates I don't see how you can trust them. They have been given tons of money but have consistently pushed those launches back. Then they turn around and ask for more money. This was supposed to come out like ten years ago. That said, I hope I'm wrong and they follow through and launch this year.
Fast and fluid
That's why I used the word "successful". Yes as a Console with a built in broadband connection it was the most the most successful in driving a new standard for Consoles. Considering every console had it. Also, MS used it, not as an afterthought but as an important part of the experience.
The Switch really isn't a fair comparison. It's four years old and won't have quite the flair as a new Playstation. Plus they totally leave out its true installed base. I get they are trying to show how fast the consoles have sold since next generation started. But doesn't tell the full story.
It was a beast and ushered in a new era of gaming for consoles. Though not the first console with online, it was the first successful console with broadband. It even helped to drive the adoption rate from dial-up to broadband.. I remember Playing Halo for the first time and stepping out on that ring was incredible. I also have fond memories of killer lan-parties. A couple of times a year we would set four tvs, four xboxs, 16 controllers, barbeque and drinks to last the whole night through. Go...
Crimson Skies was really a fun game. Spent hour dog fighting with my friends. They definitely need to make a sequel.
I personally really liked the controller and for the most part worked flawless. Plus you could switch from right to left easily. To bad so many are focused on a small quip from Phil. But hey, just another day at N4G. Great piece about the history of Nintendo.
The days of saying MS has no games is coming to an end......Finally!!! If they can't find some winners with 23 studios in their belt. Then something went majorly wrong. Looking forward to see what is cooking in the pot.
Don't really agree on Dead Space being number one. But usually come down to preference. Alot of good games on the list. I was hoping to see Aliens vs Predator by Sierra on the list, as it was a great game. Anyways for me the number one is still Halo but Mass Effect was really good up to the infamous ending of the third game.
very original art style. That giant cylinder was massive.
Sounds like a plot in a movie. Heck if that was in a movie, people would probably be thinking, "no way that would ever happen in real Life" ......Hopefully they get justice.
I really hope by the time this comes around we can be mask free again. Would love to go to a Big Bungie party.
By Jim Ryans recent comments. I believe we'll be seeing all Sony games coming to the pc after a year or so of release. I could be wrong, but three years ago nobody would have believed a Sony game would come onto the PC. Now that its already happened and seems to be increasing, I believe the pace will quicken.
Solid gameplay. I wonder how the other classes play?
Good article and very interesting read. Amazing how the 3ds was the culmination of over two decades of work.
@SullysCigar....I don't know they did announce it last year. Who knows, it could be a reeeaaallll clucken good deal...lol
