I don't know how easy it will be considering the price hikes on their consoles. Do I believe they have a solid chance of doing so? Yes. The next two months of sales data, will tell us how much those price hikes affected sales. I'm really curiose to see the numbers, because this ram shortage is driving everything through the roof.
To me the pc is the best version.
So they should focus on smaller markets?
You know a lot of those sales are dads and moms buying for their kids and teens. Consoles have alway been a reasonable price to a degree. But you start heading far north of $500, I don’t see as many parents buying for their kids or teens……will it still sell? Yes but will it sell a hundred million or more…..that’s the real question. Hopefully ram prices drop.
For one, I think it’s cool they are sending stuff out. Since Phil left, the vibe has changed, but time will tell if it leads to real change.
What happens if ram prices remain high? Do you think Sony or MS would eat those costs? Depends on how much they would have to absorb.
Well it’s cheaper there, so no big surprise
They were making money and that was 2023. I think the reason for the pullback is to keep the value in PlayStation. Also, for backwards compatible push.
I really hope this doesn’t happen. They ruin everything that they buy. Terrible company
They are using it try out different scenarios and as a placeholder. That’s smart use of ai and no one needs to be replaced.
All I can say is that they are pricing out a lot of people with these jumps. If the ps6 come in at $800-1000 their will people to buy it, they just won’t hit 60 million and above sold.
Well new leadership, so hopefully that translates to more positive engagements.
Actually excited to see Gears.
Well that’s one article. Every article for Xbox draws way more people.
Whenever it PS these people don’t care. Now if it’s MS??? We’ll just look at the number of comments on MS negative articles vs Sony. Numbers don’t lie.
Well technically you’re wrong. They still make a consoles, which keeps them 1st party.
Looks good
First AI has been in games forever. Going back to pong single player. As for todays AI taking over game development, that’s were I say hell no.
Yes, the complete death of privacy
Well thats a good question as i didn't see anything stating how the pc was configured. That said, the pc was still better overall and had killer shadows. But you would be right in asking, how much you would have to spend to get thoses shadows. But overall, they all looked solid.
