Yeah and it’s still behind a pay wall. Being able to play a game to see if you like it serves the same purpose as demos did. Also, this concept has been done before and still around. The only difference is you don’t have to pay for the privilege of trying it out, whether or not you unlock the whole experience by paying.
I understand they are trying to add value to the service. But what use to be free, is becoming increasingly locked up behind these services. Just so you can...
The only thing I don’t like the sound of is exclusive demos behind gamepass paywall. Smells like Sonys paywall for demos on their service.
Demos should be free and available to all, not just for those paying a subscription.
Doesn’t surprise me In the least. Fun game.
More crap. This is like the 80s arcade video games on nightmare steroids. Set up so you have to pump more money into the system. At least with the arcades you might get good enough to finish a game in one quarter.
Looks solid and I really like the atmosphere of where it takes place. Hoping the gameplay lives up to the graphics.
Next gen games only are already in development. COVID slowed a lot of development time down. Plus pushing the envelope is never cheap.
The console looks nice.
Okay thanks for your thoughts your obviously very passionate about it.
I’m not going to get into the whole Xbox history or how you make them to be the Devil incarnate. A lot of Ui features, broadband and games were started by Xbox and have had a positive impact on gaming. If your going with the shovelware angle. With all the quality studios they have bought, whom have proven themselves to be able to put out quality games. Do you really think that Xbox doesn’t know or care ...
Well the article doesn’t really bring any type of substance other than the writers speculation’s based off of delayed games. Yes, in the short term Gamepass has taken a small dip. But with the mountain of content coming, I can see this turning around for MS. The writers example about Netflix, in my view was a poorly used. Netflix was going to drop no matter what. From record amounts of people being forced to stay home due to Covid and spending money on entertainment. Once all that lifted, th...
Not surprised at his comments. Amazing how he has changed his tune from, “ we believe in generations” . Looks like the pc crowd will have a lot to look forward to.
Yet people are complaining about the delay of Starfield and Redfall. Because they wanted to release a quality game. I guess people rather have another cyberpunk release.
I’m glad they are adding value to the service. But it really seems the tiers are kind of confusing. Sure your hardcore players won’t have much of an issue, but the general public will be different. In my opinion, they would benefit more if they streamlined it. But I’m sure plenty of people will signup to try it out.
No STAR CITIZEN gets an “F” for all the years it has failed to officially launch. So let’s see, that’s eleven years. FFFFFFFFFFF. Now that’s more like it. Lol
Hope it lives up to just being a good solid game. We really don’t need the superlatives…. Like Cyberpunk, best hype and disappointment of a game before and after launch.
The bubble system was terrible. It gave the power to the majority. People would gang up all the time to either downvote a person or to increase each other’s bubbles.
Then people with a lot of bubbles would say some inflammatory things and could ensure they would get the last word in. If anything it muted a response.
As for this opinion/venting article , didn’t know you could write your own and post.
Way to break it down. I don’t understand their logic either. But now that they sold Tomb Raider they’ll be missing out on some good sales.
Well the article doesn’t really say anything definitive but it does offer a good overview of what Sony is packing into each tier.
Here we go, another week of console numbers. Color me surprised. While console sales are important, it doesn’t represent the whole market for Sony or Microsoft. They both have games for pc through their respective services and of course MS takes it one step further.
The point is just going by console sales isn’t enough anymore to say who is ahead. Both will end up making alot of money this generation regardless of who sold more consoles.
So the main protagonist is a ginger with a bad hair day. No wonder she’s pissed. ……Ha, ha
Nice gun play
