Everyone worries about MS or Sony. TenCent is the real worry. I just can’t trust a company that has the communist government behind it.
Well why can’t Sony create their own as well? Considering they are the home console leader. All that money they make off of 70 dollar games and a more expensive game console. They just don’t want compete in this category. So they are trying to drive a better deal over this acquisitions to ensure they have access to Call of Duty.
I would really like to try this. I remember the series but never played it. From what the article says depth without trying to reinvent everything. Sounds good to me.
I started Lost Odyssey but didn’t finish it. I’ve been wanting to go back to it. Really had great mechanics and the story was really interesting up to the point where I left off.
This topic and the trolls trying to rile and twist the facts is pathetic. Trying to sound so outraged over a common practice done across not only the Game industry (first clue industry) but Movies, and TV as well. Or do you think all the FX done in movies is all in house? Game Industry takes longer than movies because you can’t film a game. Everything has to be created from the ground up. That’s takes far more people than a studio by itself can do. AAA titles are far more complicated and thei...
I honestly thought it looked good to me. If it ends up being thin on story and personality but turns out to be fun to play. Then I’m onboard.
That’s true, but if they were all of a sudden saddled with a live service. Then on the fly you have to plan it so you have a roadmap. Reassign people to make that happen which takes away from other things. Again, I’m just speculating and obviously none of us really know why things turned out the way they did.
I mean wether or not you liked or disliked Halo4,5 they are still well built games with strong multiplayer. Just not revolutionary or had become the big splash they were intende...
To be fair to them. I’m really wondering if some things were switched up on them. Meaning that the live service approach was brought in later in the development cycle and they had to adjust. That would explain alot. Again just speculating, but it’s weird that a studio like this would have this many issues as they have had with Infinite.
So what’s the battery life of both? I didn’t watch the video? If theirs a big difference then that’s one. The other would be price.
Wicked good fun.
I was joking around on my statement above. What I think would be really cool is to stay with the same character. He or she starts out young in WW1 and of course Older in WW2 period. You could have an over arching story spanning over two decades.
Surprise, surprise another AC game. How about AC In the year 3000 and it takes place on mars. Lol
Well I wrote a big post on this but somehow it deleted from the stupid glitching advertisement on this site. Does any bodies screen jump around as the advertisement changes up. Just asking.
As for the Chinese buying up game companies. What’s one way to monitor people and behaviors? Through the gaming analytics they get from people playing. I really believe they are trying to manipulate the world as much as possible. Remember the bird nest at their first Olympics. Their Visi...
True, but it seems that with all the broken content coming out these days. That something has changed, that has really upped the cost and time of development. I haven’t really seen anything that pushes the boundaries. Unless your talking about graphics, but even then we haven’t seen a true next generation of graphics in a game outside of tech demos.
But just my take.
Wow, it really seems that game development for AAA has become longer. I wonder if this has to do with the fact that developers are adding in more ways to milk gamers?
Game engines like Unreal are supposed to make it easier and cheaper. Obviously that doesn’t seem to be the case.
People really under estimate the pandemic and the effect it had on the industry.
That said, have we’ve gotten true next gen titles? No, but I believe 2023 will be the year we see true next gen titles on both the PS5 and Xbox series X.
Man all these Chinese Government backed companies using up everything. My question is, what is their angle?
Regardless of which way you swing there are obviously advantages to both physically buying your game and subscriptions.
But I agree with some on here that physical is an endangered species. If we look at how many people now a days use some form of subscription service instead of owning, the number are huge. Everyone points to Netflix, but this really started with Apple and digital music. Sure you could buy your songs for 99 cents per song. But you didn’t have a physical c...
Brew your beer in 4k at 60 fps….Brewtastic!!!
If anything this game will teach you how to make your own beer…cheers.
I thought she sounded fine. It’s a video game, not some academy award winning movie. As long as the mechanics and world are good then it a no brainer.
