I hope we get to see more games come jan 12, Botw is looking great but I want to know more about other first- and thirdparty support.
I never played Morrowind, New Vegas was great though. Obsidian know their stuff.

The BioWare of old is gone, all we can do now is remember the legacy of the old company in games such as Baldurs Gate, Kotor, Jade Empire etc.

I think it's more an assumption based on history, these kind of games are often more successful on Sony (and sometimes Nintendo) consoles, Xbox is more for fps/sport fans. Not even Lost Odyssey sold that well and it was almost Final Fantasy quality, hell might even be considered on par with some Final Fantasy games.

Count on MS to introduce the bad parts in gaming (almost got away with DRM, always online).
Or the Analog sticks, or rumble feature, yeah MS has done it's fair part in copying others.
I'm in the same boat, I do care but by the time I will have a UHDTV and start buying UHD blurays the PS5 should be close to release anyway.
I could never own only NS, but it will complement my other consoles.

Let's face it, after e3 2013 only a fool would have picked up an Xbox One, and it shows here on N4G.
Look, I'm not gonna lie, I would rather have a box from Nintendo that plays regular games with a regular controller and with some fantastic graphics. I just don't see it happening, and I have finally released my mindlock that Nintendo will make another Gamecube like console. That would only set me up for dissapointment.

PC will keep pushing game advancement, together with Sony and Microsoft (even if some people would consider even the new Pro and Scorpio underpowered). I think we can afford one console manufacturer (Nintendo) not pushing graphics like the others are trying to do. The Switch is a totally new approach for Nintendo hardware, I don't know why people expected BC when the hardware choices are so different from both the WiiU and 3DS. If Nintendo were to make another hybrid (Tegra based) console in the future that is basically the same formfactor but more powerful, then I think it's fair to expect BC much like phones have BC with new hardware iterations.
Don't get me wrong, I don't care about third party as much as I care about first and second party support, those are the most important to me. It would be nice with some third party support though, games that would fit well with a portable setup like Bloodstained for example, or games that are heavy on multiplayer (lan party ftw).
