That would have been pretty cool, having the game start out in a medical bed and Sheppard cured from the Indoctrination. Everything that happened in the last part of the game turned out to be all in his head. Then we actually get to fight Harbinger!
At least we got some enjoyment out of the game from the many GIFS, thanks BioWare.
Actually, the founders of BioWare invested all they had to create the company and it's first game, why did they do that? Because they loved gaming, and making games was something they were passionate about. Making money was important since it allowed them to keep working in the field they loved.
EA however, seem to care only for making money. I doubt the suits at EA care much of the games, they are just looking for the next big seller. That is the reason for the outcry ...
Stream 4k games? I don't think so, I want the best possible experience thank you.
It's the EA Effect.
Jade Empire was awesome, I can't imagine current BioWare create anything that uniqe again, also - EA would probably say it's to niche.
I think the vision that Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka (the founders) had for BioWare changed when they retired from the company and sold it to EA. Those guys were amazing, I read an interview about BioWare from way back were they talked a lot about their game design philosophies. They were all about the quality of the game, and would not compromize on that quality to fit a given timeframe or deadline. With EA calling the shots, I imagine that it's a very different situation there now. All y...
Im there with you, the days when I buy BioWare games on release day are gone, I will pick this up when it's in the bargin bin.
XanderZane: Well duh, my point is that despite WiiU being a big failure, it still managed to outsell Xbox One with ease in Japan (it was a response to PhoenixUp talking about the Japanese market), it would be pretty embarasing if Nintendo's biggest failure would manage to outsell Xbox One in it's strongest market (NA).
FloydianAndroid: Yes, console gaming is preferable to me as well, I only play on my PC when the game is not available on PS4/Switch. Also, some genre...
The uncanny valley is strong in this one.
Floydian: I like some of those games too, but I just found other similar games on other platforms instead. Ori is on PC, Forza is on PC, and Halo Wars 2 just came out on PC. So if I really wanted to, I could just play them there.
WiiU (a dead console) sold five times more then Xbox One last week in Japan, fun fact.
I was an Xbox fan, but I jumped ship after the horrible 2013 reveal and looking at the sales of the PS4, it seems a lot of people did the same. So in a sense you are right, a lot of former Xbox fans made it clear by supporting the company that did not have built in DRM in their system. Now I'm a happy fan of PC and Sony/Nintendo, Microsoft will not see any of my money again. And it's not just my money, but my brothers, cousins and friends money too. In short, a lot of people convinced...
AHall88 He is a conservative with leanings to liberalism in some questions. Whats so hard to understand about it?
Strong feminist women that can't take a joke on twitter... how strong were they again? Yeah...
Well, Colin is a conservative liberal, while all the others on kinda funny are lefties/progressives so there were a lot of banter/arguments on their shows. Tim and Colin were the ones with most disagreements, and in my honest opinion, Tim looked almost happy that Colin had to leave. My guess is that Tim managed to turn Greg against Colin using their shared political values as a means to do so, sad to see Greg not standing up for Colin but hey, that's were it's at. Personally, I found ...
This is the problem with a lot of series, they never end and drag on and on, that is the reason I left Xbox platform for Sony, all we got was Halo/Gears/Forza. Uncharted as a series is completed, and it was an amazing run but now it's time to let it rest and look for the next thing.
Guess the transformation of BioWare under EA is now complete. Goodbye BioWare, you were once my favorite developer, nice knowing you.
