MS be like "Ummm... maybe we should at least buy some timed exclusive indies to show we care...?"
Depends, if done right QTE can create scenes to hectic for ordinary controls/reaction time to replicate, and thus create some awesome action scenes for story purposes. That is what we saw in the trailer, an awesome action scene, but we also saw more dynamic things that seem to be part of the freedom of regular controls. Like the stealth, combat, webslinging etc.
Maybe we should just call it XxX
I have a bad feeling about Crackdown 3, it has troubled development written all over it.
I guess, but remember, the 360 games are not runing from the disk on XBOne, it just act like an unlock key for the download.
This is the only game that wowed me from MS e3 briefing, it looked fantastic.
I wonder how this is going to work, will we be able to use the original disks or is it some form of download.
Who knows what they mean, the word exclusive has been abused to no end by Microsoft. Oh well, guess we will see, the game looked good but I hope it's not like Destiny - multiplayer focus and no story.
Yeah, I was surprised to see how simplistic it looked, almost like the original on 360. Could be fun though, but were's the destruction? hmm...
It's EA, so "free" is still of less value then free time.
Day freakin one!
I give credit to MS for trying to do BC, even if I prefer to run the games off of the original disk (via 360), at least people without a 360 have the option to play a lot of their last gen games on Xbox One. Sony are not even trying to do BC, and while its not a big deal to me, I can see that some people might like to go back to older games.
The reason I think it is less of an issue is that - YES, we can always keep our old hardware. It is an option, even if people like to ...
I agree, its nice fanservice to be honest, no matter how many who use it.
That shot could be from a Wind Waker sequel. Thats were my mind went, not Sea of Thieves.
Joab: its a good problem to have ;)
Still pretty good sales for the Switch, now it just needs more games to keep building momentum. A strong E3 showing will also help.
Nice, I bet the game will have no fillers and be very condensed. Some people complain about games being to short, but I like it when developers have the courage to focus the game on a shorter, more intense experience.
Sony always have to leave games out, they simply have to much in the pipeline to show off everything in one single E3 showing. I think it was the right move for Death Stranding, the game needs time in the capable hands of Kojima and his team.
Yeah, I would have been so pissed if I had went with Xbox this gen, but I would have probably sold it by now anyway so.
