I would rather have remakes of masterpieces such as SotC then BC, that game will be even more epic now with the amazing graphics. PS2 was great, but the graphics did not age well. Sony is doing the right thing in taking the best games from that time and enhancing them for this generation. Now they will become true timeless classics, even in terms of graphics.
Well said.
Exactly, he was talking about what they showed at E3 breifing, and no indies in the briefing doesn't mean no indies on the platform. There are lots of indies coming to the PS4, people need to read what was actually said.
The same with PS4 Pro, it is also understocked so yes, Nintendo sales could have been higher, but so could Sony's sales. Point is, PS4 is back on top.
They could have done boss buildings indestructable? Also, buildings could have small robots repairing them, so no building was destroyed "forever".
I liked the first one, but I remember feeling it was way to shallow. Fun gameplay, but they could have made a great more in terms of story and narrative. The second game was the same, very shallow and no story, and the setting was darker and more depressing, an overall downgrade from the first game.
Crackdown 3 looks like the first game, a bit brighter but again, no depht, no story, just "kill this, collect that". Granted, the game is not out so we shall see.
Perfect respond Ninty!
Microsoft should just release the real official numbers already.
It's almost like Microsoft is holding the game hostage to their platform - Gasp! But Phil said that they don't do that!
As for BC, I am not worried about it one bit. Think about it, what emulation community is the biggest right now? Sony and Nintendo platforms get great emulation support, and we see that with PS3 and WiiU right now. In the future, we will see the same with PS4, when the platform is dead and we have moved on to PS5, the old games will be supported on PC. The great singleplayer games of today will live on tomorrow, no matter what - on PC. BC is just better all around on PC, emulation is the way ...
How old are you? Putting 300+ hours on one game is something most grown ups don't have time with, I know I don't. I'm still trying to finish up Horizon with my limited time, trying to get that game done so I can move on to the next game in my backlog.
Maybe thats the thing with MS, they want to target the young demographic of gamers that have endless time to put on multiplayer games.
Well, Microsoft had new hardware, that will always create a lot of buzz. As for the games, both Anthem and Battlefront II comes out for PS4 so I don't know what the problem is here.
It would also mean DRM, always online and no aftermarket for games.
Yes, don't get too excited folks, or these games will be canceled just like Scalebound, Fable Legends and Phantom Dust.
You mean those indies, yeah totally worth a $500 console Ó_o
Microsoft does this every generation, release a few AAA games in the first years of the console cycle and then let multiplats do the heavy lifting, preparing some new games for their next system luanch. rinse and repeat.
"More remasters and Zombies"
"I enjoyed the Last Guardian so finally finishing this should be a treat"
Did you forget to sign in to your other account or something. lol...
The people most angry about lack of Sony cross play seems to be Xbox fanboys. The irony ^_^
leahcim: I agree, imagine this game with a deep story like the bioware games of old. Oh well.
You'll be able to play them both on PC, whats your point? We can still compare the two games and what each has to offer. Weird comment.
