Success? We have sales data now? Or are you talking about that 85 score on metacritics...?
Give water to a dehydrated man in the desert and he will treat it as the finest and most valuable drink in the world.
Juusterey: Are you saying that metacritic is less objective than this random personal opinion? Oh boy...
What a stupid thing to say, as if lesser framerate would somehow make everything look much better by default.
I dont know, gears have cool and detailed character design, but in terms of environments, games like God of War and Uncharted 4 win imo. Still, congrats to microsoft, this is for sure a step in the right direction.
I like Obsidian, they make the type of rpg's that I enjoy, I would have loved for Sony to pick them up. But yeah, they pale next to Insomniac.
That is probably were things are going, Microsoft is already releasing games on both ps4 and switch.
I would hate to see Obsidian go exclusive, but as long as I can play their games on PC it will be fine I guess.
Some of the leftist games media and xbox fans tried so hard to downplay this game, and despite that it's a success. Hopefully this means we get Days Gone 2.
shaggy2303. Ok, no problem.
If you compare to xbox, their missteps are small. Even with ps3, they ended up beating xbox 360 (ms best offering still ended up at last place).
Agree, they are really starting to get ahead of Pokemon.
Thats a massive drop in hardware revenue.
It died when Phil closed down Lionhead studios.
Removing hdmi out was a stupid idea tbh.
Yes, I would also welcome a home only version, it should be easy and cheap for Nintendo do offer such a version. A simple box without a screen, joycons etc. Maybe bundle it with the PRO controller.
They should have stayed with 150 and instead expanded the world and tech/engine. They have painted themselves into a corner, too many Pokemon means most of the time is spent modeling and animating all those monsters with generic movesets.
By this point in time we should be able, for example, to fly on the back of a pokemon over an open world much like BotW. The potential was there, but the developer made all the wrong moves.
One of the few developers that still aim for the stars. Sony and Nintendo are also fantastic, so many great games from these companies.
Say what you will about gamestop, but thats a lot of people losing their jobs.
