They can't get recurring revenue from that though, so EA will keep telling their lies.
They want everyone and their mother to subscribe to their service, this talk about cloud power is just to sell us on the idea that these things can't be done on traditional hardware, and that we need to move towards an always online state in gaming.
The characters feel like real people in tlou, very few games pull this off.
You mean more big conglomerates locking third party content on their platform.
Yeah, I was actually hoping for it to be true 😂
Yes, Notebookcheck.net should be the economic advisors for these important matters. We all need to listen to their words of wisdom.
I wonder if this will release as a non vr game as well, looks very polished.
I actually agree with you, this game needs as much sales as it can get for Yu Susuki to do the sequal we all want.
I just got the game in the mail, can't wait to play it this weekend.
I actually played the second game on xbox, a lot of fans are probably on that eco system.
In two years you can build an affordable pc with better specs.
People dont get it, this game should be looked at as an indie homage to the first two games and a treat for the fans who wants to see the story continue and conclude. Its a niche game from a niche console (Dreamcast sold what, 12m) so the majority did not play the first two games and will likely not feel that special bond to this series.
DaDrunkenJester: dont even play this game, you will not like it. The game is by design meant to be a direct sequal to the first games. The developers have gone out their way to make it feel like you are playing in that era, even down to the awkward sound of npc speak. Some things will be improved and refined, but still, if you expect some AAA next gen experience, you are in for a let down. This game is for the fans, and if you are not a fan then just dont play it.
Mark Cerny is like that supersmart mouse in Pinky and the Brain, trying to take over the world.
My guess is a touchpad, a screen would drain battery quickly.
The shape looks more like the xbox controller, more rounded on the edges. I don't mind, the xbox controller is very ergonomic.
Maybe Sony will release a controller with a more vr centric input method, instead of trying to make the dualshock 5 the "jack of all trades but master of none" type of thing.
At least he is willing to take a risk on something new, but if you dont like that maybe just stick to xbox (forza, gears, halo in infinity)
I feel the same about skyrim, and even fallout. Fun is an overrated word. They are rewarding though.
Sony will cater to all fans, as always. They have more physical releases then any other platform.
