Well, PS3 DOES have the option to download games while the console is turned off. One of the MANY advantages of PS+. You should research it. You may discover some features that you truly find useful. (Not being sarcastic btw.)
How do you know? Have you played both to their completion? How's the online community & innovations? Look, I'm not the biggest FPS fan myself, but I'm smart enough not to judge a book by its cover. Your comment is premature, prejudice, & childish. If neither game interests you, maybe you should spend your game related research more productively; ie. Looking for games that may suit your fancy.
Thanks for the link. It has the whole interview with David Cage linked at the end. I suggest that everyone read it.

Being a Playstation supporter myself, I have to say that that was a well written opinion. I gave you an agree click because "most" of what you said was logical. However, I disagree with you on "MS always led in [online gaming] this gen..." Imo. the experiences of DCUO, MAG, LBP 1 & 2, Free Realms, PS HOME, Web Browsing, game sharing, PS+, free acces to all apps, amongst other perks made the PSN lead for many this gen.
These are experiences, moreso than...
Hopefully, Sony's prior deal can bring something great to life. I remember being excited E3 09 I think it was when Sony announced the deal with NCSoft. The PS4 will be purpose built with MMO's in mind. DCUO is an animation intense MMO that is working fairly decently on the PS3. Not as smooth as its PC counterpart, but functional nonetheless. I am most excited for the potential of open world games and MMO's for the Playstation 4. Can't wait to see future projects.
Easy for me. The launch of Socom Confrontation was so horrific, I vowed to never buy a Slant Six game again. As a long time fan and supporter of the Socom franchise, I was heartbroken when the retail release was available in the same condition I had beta tested it in. So I actually killed two birds with one stone: game & developer.
*The game eventually became playable after VARIOUS patches & updates.
@ xursz
Well I don't care WHAT you think about the agrees/disagrees on your...comment. You'll take this agree and like it! Just cuzz I wanna piss you off, take this *Well Said* bubble, too!! SMH!! Some people...I'll tell ya!!
PS4 = [developer's &] gamer's wet dream realized.
YES. There are plenty of fantastic games to experience for the current generation. Some of those franchises will certainly make their way to next gen with sequels and successors. To deny oneself these games from the past 6+ years is criminal.
Pretty funny man. +Funny
@Korezo
I got the message at about 10pm PST last night. At the end of the message before the link, it says: "Code expires 3/5/13."
Read the first three comments. I do agree with the sarcasm of your first sentence.
The comma should be changed to "or."
I'm fairly confident that the author and most gamers are referring to the core support for "games" not "sales" being dead. What you have to understand is that not everyone is a fanboy making blind, baseless assumptions and accusations. (I know you didn't say that. I'm making a point.)
Many were supporters of the original Xbox and Xbox 360. Microsoft is displaying a pattern that it will support its console in its early years, then seemingly drop...
Heavy Rain &/or The Walking Dead has changed MANY non gaming significant others into believers.
I'm not a fanboy, but the PS4 will possibly have amongst the greatest graphics TO ME. Any improvement to Heavy Rain, Uncharted, God of War, Flower, Journey, Killzone, Fight Night, The Last of Us, & many others will be the best that I will have seen. Will there be better on the latest greatest pc? Maybe, but I wont see em. See, what u fail to realize is that as long as a person is satisfied with the expectations they have, who cares what the others can do. That goes for PC, Wii U, Xbox...
One Thing We learned This Gen
1. [SOME] Developers Are Lazy!!!!
@shonen_82
I agree with you for the most part, but I think that you may be being a little unfair with your comment & question "Yes games like [U]ncharted are beautiful to look at, but honestly, is the gameplay really more advanced from a ps2 game?" My answer to that question is yes.
I think of some of the most memorable experiences I had on the PS2 & compare them to the ones I've had, thus far, with the PS3. I think that the shortest & easies...
@WiiULee
Well, I cant really comment on the Wii U because I do not own one nor plan on getting it in the future. (I said the same thing about the Gamecube until the Resident Evil REmake came out.) This stems more from feeling I wasted my money on the Wii. That's for another discussion tho. I disagreed with you regarding the PS4 aspect of your post.
There are no official specs regarding the system but it has been confirmed for a few years now that the PS4 will be a...
Not to nitpick, but his name is Willem Dafoe. Article should edit accordingly.
