I HIGHLY suggest that you play the REmake for part 1. Although it can only be played on a Nintendo system, it is a great redo of the original game.
If you are truly on a plan like that and you plan on sticking with the PS4 or X1 for this gen, you won't make it. The game downloads will make it nigh impossible for you to enjoy your gaming.
I'm not sure if you are being serious or not especially since you didn't put "/s", but Jack Tretton was NOT fired. He and Sony decided not to renew his contract agreement which ends at the end of March I believe.

As do I. 105 down 20 up. If it was PSN, EVERYONE would have the same problem as you. That just isn't the case man. I've played some of the most demanding online console games and have had minimal problems with PSN. It hasn't been 100% reliable, but what is? Certainly not Live like many try to insinuate.
If EVERY game you play is a lagfest, it is your internet that is the problem. From PS3 to PS4, my connection has been fine unless Comcast had something going on.
When Sony's 1st and 2nd party devs put the games on those devices maybe some will consider it. Atm, I have been good with console gaming since Atari 2600. "Laughable performance." Smh. I and many others DO NOT CARE about pc's uber duper performance. We enjoy our PS4's, Xbox 1's, and Wii U's just fine. Thx 4 ur concern tho.
Fyi, there is alot of outsourcing and temp work that goes on in the industry. I can speak about Sony from experience because I worked at the SCEA headquarters in Foster City, California. These layoffs were more than likely just temp employees that were on contract.
We'll, Uncharted Drake's Fortune had 4d. Do you know what 4d is? PS3 with Folding At Home had the cancer curing in effect with the help of Stanford University. Some claim to be game changers and truly strive to be. May not always reach those lofty goals, but a valiant effort is always good in my books.

OT: The game looks amazing and I am much more interested in this than I was at the initial reveal of this game. I actually like the bars on the screen. Really makes it seem like it fits the time period for some odd reason.
Now let's be real here. To say that the game looks "terrible" is a bit much. I am supporting the PlayStation brand only this generation and I know that the game on the Xbox doesn't look terrible. By comparison, sure the PS4 is MUCH better looking. But I can throw MGS 1 in my PS1 and enjoy it in all it's jaggy glory. Most previous posts are dead on, but to imply that the game looks terrible is too much.
