I doubt this is the XBL version, it's most likely one of the numerous N64 emulators simply playing Golden Eye, hence the higher frame rate.

This is completely true.
I was in the pub last night and got talking to a bloke whose flatmate's step Dad's best friend works for Time Warner and was involved in the $500 Million deal.
He was telling me that it was a bidding war between Microsoft and Sony which ended up in both having to submit sealed bids and the one closest to the amount Warner wanted (without going over) would win the exclusivity.
$10 is too much for such an old game. Perhaps they should have offered a bundle of Metal Slug 1, 2 & 3.
I know the PS3 gets updates to the store once a week, but is this the same for the Wii and Xbox?
Edit: Ah, OK the weapons are generated randomly so 500,000 is probably the estimated number of permutations.

Possibly, the Xbox 360 currently burns hotter than the Sun so the next model might as well shine brighter.
The same way EA screwed up TimeSplitters, Burn Out and SSX by putting a stupid commentator into all the recent versions.
Assassin's Creed is far too repetitive:
1. Go to the city
2. Scale a tower to locate the sub missions
3. Complete the same four sub missions
4. Assassinate the target
5. Goto 1
Repeat 7 or 8 times.
