Not really sure what you mean by that. Microsoft killed Netscape by bundling Internet Explorer with Windows.
I'm glad it's OK with Microsoft as now Master Chief can feature in a proper FPS.
This is what will happen on April 29th:
Kid will walk up to the counter with a copy of GTA IV and a wad of cash. The guy behind the counter will say
"Sorry, I can't sell that to you, you're too young"
The kid will then turn around a yell
"MUM!!!!!!!"
Mother will come over and buy the game for the kid.
It was looking OK until I got to Alyx. Shame all the pervs always think girls have to have massive tits.
WHSmith still charge £44.99 for Halo 2. I think Currys Digital are still trying to flog Final Fantasy VII for £39.99
GT5 Prologue is so sold out you can't even download it, that's how sold out it is.
Oh no! If their Gamescore is reset then they won't be able to...
wait, what can you do with a Gamerscore anyway?
Everything costs more in WHSmith* I remember when the last Harry Potter book came out, WHSmith thought people would be dumb enough to pay £12.99 for it PROVIDED THEY BOUGHT ANOTHER BOOK AT THE SAME TIME.
Asda were selling it for £8.
*maybe that should be their motto.
Thank God!
I was getting worried that no one would post a "Top 20 PS2 Games Of All Time / You Should Play" list this week...
I completely agree, movie downloads will kill Blu-Ray the same way iTunes killed the CD.
"While the Blu-ray picture will not improve on the Profile 2.0 players, they will allow you to chat on-screen with other Blu-ray owners, retrieve free ring tones and play games."
Wow, features definitely worth delaying your purchase for.
The only reason people think the PSP is dying is because it's not selling as well as the DS. The PSP is selling in acceptable numbers, it's just that the DS has been a runaway success which makes the PSP look bad by comparison. End of.
SF2 Blanka: Seeing you in action is a joke
SFA2 Zangief: Don't make me angry or I'll beat the crap out of you!
But my all time favourite
KOF95 Chang: You may have speed, but I have this big steel ball!
I really didn't like the camera or the "checkpoints" in the game. Being made to fight for 15 minutes just to get back to the boss and then getting killed within 5 seconds isn't my idea of fun.
I love God Hand, it's the only game that I've played, finished, sold, regretted selling and re-bought.
With regard to the PS3 version, hopefully the May release will be worldwide, rather than just being for Japan and the US.
Apparently all it does it improve the stability of online gaming. I guess this means you don't get disconnected so often.
Not that that really matters since my ISP seems to throttle or drop my connection whenever they see me using it...
Let's be honest, who played it for anything than the fatalities? If it didn't have them it'd have been just another generic fighter.
I never understand this rubbish about giving money to charity. So what? If Hitler* gave money to charity would that have made him a good man? No.
*I'm not suggesting Bill Gates is as bad a Hitler, but he's hardly been a saint when it comes to unfair business practises.
They should make the forward button twice as big instead.
The Firefox developers are essentially saying that backtracking and progress are bad and should be suppressed.
Or something like that anyway.
