God Hand is a fantastic game. Sure, it's pretty tough in places, but the difficulty adjusts itself to how good a player you are. There's something very satisfying about dodging a barrage of attacks and then retaliating with a combo of your own.
It is also one of the funniest games I've ever played.
>Resistance 2 will feature the Chimera in a major onslaught at the San Francisco Bridge and other American landmarks.
I really hope none of them are religious landmarks, everyone knows what happened in the UK with the shoot out in Manchester Cathedral.
Microsoft made a very big mistake with Vista. The requirements are far too high for a business to consider upgrading. Some of the computers where I work can run XP if they turn off the graphical effects, so upgrading to Vista is just a waste of time and money.
@xplosneer
Defragmenting will only work if you're not using your computer, otherwise, every time you change a file on the disk, it will have to start over.
The only way I could ever get it to complete was to disable the swap file and screensaver and anything else which would write to the HD even if I wasn't doing anything.
Declining traffic I reckon. I think that the overhaul two weeks ago drove a lot of people away.
Nope, but then again I think The Simpsons is still as fresh and funny as it was 15 years ago.
It's going to be terrible. The Xbox 360 owners are going to post their reviews of the game a whole 21 minutes and 41 seconds sooner than the PS3 owners.
20 minutes is nothing compared to the amount of time you'll spend playing the game.
You can wax on, wax off all you like. I'm still kicking your ass.
Godhand
I played the demo for less than 5 minutes before dismissing it as a sub par run of the mill shooter.
There are far too many shooters this generation and unless they're really outstanding I'm simply not going to bother.
The expression on Ryu's face in some of the screens is classic
Losing the remixed music might not be a great loss. Hyper Street Fighter II's remixed music is pretty awful, I prefer the original mixes.
Still, they shouldn't be limiting the size of the arcade games.
The demo was a generic run of the mill shooter. I switched it off after about 5 minutes.
On the other hand I play the DMC4 demo regularly...
This reminds me of Bart Vs Australia:
EB: You owe me $10M!
M$: No, you owe ME $10M!
EB: What?! They're your broken consoles!
M$: What are you going to do, you're all the way down in Australia! Hey, I think I hear a dingo eating your baby etc...
I'm glad my PS3 has backwards compatibility, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to play Global Defence Force or Metal Slug Anthology. I also still play Capcom's Versus series (Marvel, SNK) from time to time.
By the way, that stretching thing something mentioned, you can turn off the stretching. Well, you can on my PS3 anyway...
What's your alternative?
If you're not convinced, get yourself a Japanese account and download the demo from their Store.
I wasn't 100% sure if I was going to like it, but after playing the demo I downloaded the full game.
Some religions are great though. There's one I know where you can treat a woman like absolute crap and even beat the living hell out of if you like and follow it up with a good raping to keep her in line. You can also threaten to murder people over trivial stuff like, say, the name of a teddy bear.
I *think* it's because they have to translate the games, or maybe convert them to PAL.
Maybe someone living in France, Germany etc. could clarify whether the games are translated or not.
The worst bit is that ISPs just block all P2P exchanges, meaning that I can't download Linux via a torrent, something that I'm legally entitled to do.
What I have to then do is encrypt my protocol so that I can download the torrent, something that I'm legally entitled to do.
