Not a bad idea. I was wondering why they (as in Microsoft or Sony) hadn't done this earlier. Would be nice to install my old PS2 games, but requiring the original disc is a hassle.
Anyway, how long will it be before someone finds a way to trick the system into not checking for the disc?
Could this be the most commented on article that N4G has ever posted?
I think it might well be, but if it isn't let me know!
HL2 texture mod = A bunch of saddos who want to be able to stare at a half naked woman, probably because it's the only chance they'll get.
I loved the arcades. TMNT, Toki, R-Type, Golden Axe...
They were 20p a go, with the newer games being 30p.
Occasionally you'd get a game that people would crowd around, so much so that you couldn't even see the screen. That's how I remember MK2.
Then the games went up to 30p a go for Killer Instinct (50p for 2 credits).
Then it was 50p a go and a £1 for 3 credits. By then though the arcade market was dying since MK3 and KI2 were availab...
You hit the nail right on the head. Bubbles.
Damn, I've only got 2.84GB free space
I love it when people complain about the cost of games in America. How much does the same game cost in the UK? I'll tell you:
£45. That's $90.
Count yourselves lucky.
Yay! More DJ Atomica!
(After a stunt) "Great stunt!"
(After running someone over) "Oooh! That'll hurt in the morning!"
(Getting a wanted level) "Watch out, buddy, here come the cops!"
GTA V, out this Christmas on everything!
GTA VI, out next Spring!
Just being able to play as the guys from Battle Of The Planets has me sold
A single journey on the London Underground costs £4 (about $8), but it is supposed to be the best in the world, when they're not striking over something.
Come to think of it, we're pretty overdue a strike aren't we?
I'd like to see Trophy support for PJM (Encore) and MGS4.
That's the entire premise of the Terminator films.
Well, apart from the third one, which sucked apart from the final scene.
I still don't understand why they've made what is clearly a game designed for consoles and they're not planning on releasing it on any!
The only thing Sony need to fix is the Store.
Why do I have to download something twice? Once to put it in my shopping cart, and then again to download it. The thing I'm downloading is free! I want to download it immediately!
Second, why do I have to use the Start button when I'm downloading movie files? Shouldn't this also be the X button?
Base it on the Silent Hill 2.
Best one in the series.
Oh well, let's see what's in the US Store tomorrow...
Agreed, I got fed up of playing it about halfway through when I realised that it was just the same rubbish everytime:
10. Go to your quarry's city
20. Complete 3 out of the 5 same missions
30. Go to where you quarry is
40. Kill your quarry
50. Get returned to your starting city
60. Goto 10
This game will suck so much ass!
There, fixed it for you.
Pretty good, apart from the ones from MK3, what a load of rubbish...
And meanwhile, the Wii will continue to happily steam roll over the pair of them...
