Wiiu flopped. Switch was a success. It's most successful games are Mario Odyssey and Zelda BOTW. I din't see anyone complaining when "another" Mario or Zelda was released...but only when it's Microsoft do we see the usual comments "another halo, gears lol".
At least wait for next gen you don't know what might happen. Could be successful, could be disastrous for Microsoft.
Fantastic news. I hope THQ Nordic would make a deal with platinum games to develop the sequel. Imagine a nier like game but set in high fantasy world of amalur.
Poor example. A lot of RPG have better combat than witcher 3.
Better comparison would be to place kingdom's combat with the likes of dragon's Dogma.
Story wise it already lost its way back in 2012 when they decided to kill Desmond.
The whole animus concept was very interesting but they just failed at the execution level. But that's ubisoft for you. Great concept, failed execution.
Assassin's creed has lost its identity now it's just another rpg, which is fun gameplay wise but it's not what I would call an assassins creed game.
Instead of looking at scores specifically people should look at number of positive vs negative review.
So far Spiderman has 75 positive vs 5 mixed reviews. I say it's pretty damn good for any game.
She was brand new to killing people.....not climbing rooftops. You could actually see her climbing the manor as a child in ROTR in a cutscene with her father. SMH.
As for uncharted comparison, as pointed out by most here tomb raider did it first so stop with the silly comparison. Flashback is common in story telling no one is copying here.

"It’s very unfair to compare trailers and gameplay demos,
A trailer is a beautiful shot, right. A trailer is prepared, you take one location, you put the perfect lights, and the perfect camera angle, and it looks absolutely beautiful, and it’s captured at super high-definition, and then you post-process it and everything… But gameplay demos, that’s when you see the real game. That’s when you see what the real g...
When the previous entries are available to everyone and suddenly the sequel is made exclusive.
It's connected to assassins creed in modern day timeline.
When the developers themselves start disrespecting the very lore they created and the fan-base that was created around that lore, you know the story is going to go downhill. AC suffers from this and that is why no matter how many rpg elements they add to the series, until they fix the story and stay true to the lore these new AC will never reach the same height as AC 2 did.
Also ever since black flag the character are just not memorable. They also need to fix this.
It's not like there's a single GOTY award now is it? Both will be GOTY. So why the unnecessary fight?
Every year multiple games worthy of GOTY releases and they all win GOTY award from at least one of the major publication. As for gamers themselves to each their own is the rule.
On n4g fanboys from PS4 camp downvote Xbox article, fanboys from Xbox camp downvote PS4 articles. Can't tell if it's like a rule here or something but that's just how it works here.
The only difference is the ratio of these people. Last gen it was pro Xbox, this gen it's pro playstation. You'll get used to it.
I myself prefer single player games. IMO they are better than multiplayer games. And the sales data shows that they are indeed profitable and are here to stay for a long long time.
But here's another thing, fortnite alone made more than 1 billion in sales. Let that sink in. And then tell me how publishers are at fault in thinking that multiplayer games are MORE(this being the keyword) profitable than single player and hence preferring and/or pursuing them in development.
Don't worry...years after initial console release and maybe another release on the next gen consoles with 4th person camera mode they will finally release it on pc.
You come to conclusion that the story is not the focus because a certain character doesn't match the source material(btw which is only used for inspiration).*sigh*....I don't have anything else to add here clearly you didn't play darksiders series before.
Here's a quick question does god of war devs not focus on story? I mean clearly there is no kratos in Greek mythology. According to you it must be I guess.
As for the name calling I apologise, it was uncalle...
God of War - 94, Celeste - 94, Dead Cells - 93, Monster hunter world - 90, Into the breach - 89, Pillars of Eternity - 88, Subnautica - 87, Ni no kuni 2 - 84, Frostpunk - 84, Octopath Traveller - 84
Okay so not counting the remasters and ports the currrent top 10 scoring games of 2018 are these above. Out of these only 3 are AAA(if you count octo as AAA then maybe 4) the rest are all indie. It seems 2018 is indeed the year for indie devs and their games to shine .
They took inspiration...look up the word you'll know the meaning. That doesn't mean they got to follow it book by book you dumb ass. It's their story, their own take on the story of apocalypse. Also the decision to make Fury female was from the get go so tell me again how does it impact the story when the story itself was made considering Fury as female from the beginning? Use your brains a little before spouting nonsense.
Fury was female since the beginning of darksiders way back in 2010. Do some research before posting ignorant comments.
There's only two things in darksiders series that I want to know -
1) how will the scenario play out in the final moment when the four horseman finally join hands together.
2) how the hell did those guns of Strife ended up at two entirely unrelated worlds!?
The only review that I watch now is that of ACG. Gives me plenty of information to judge whether I'd like the game or not. No arbitrary score.
