And yet the console bombed. That's what I'm saying that exclusive games alone are not enough for the success of the console, it's one of the biggest factor I'm not denying that but it's not the only one. But it seems people here don't get what I'm trying to say. *sigh* whatever.
"The Wii u didn’t sell because of bad marketing and many more cons"
That's what I said(or rather meant), exclusive alone don't determine the success, the console in question has to have some pretty good features too.
"Yes the switch’s portability is - big factor, but what would portability even matter without GAMES?"
Would a device built to play games matter if it didn't play those games? No it will not but that's not what I was ...
No one denies that. Exclusive products define a brand. Problem is when some people make it out to be the sole factor of success. Which it's not, it's only one of the factor. There are other factors too. Wiiu had exclusive games but guess what? it flopped hard. The same games are now being ported to Nintendo Switch and receiving critical acclaim and actually selling this time. Portability is the main reason for such success for Switch, exclusive are just cherry on the cake.
Console gaming is not dead, pc gaming is not dead either nor is mobile gaming. What's dead though is the quality journalism.
Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Titanfall, and now Battlefield, every series that is held captive to EA is suffering. You're not alone in thinking EA's fall.
As if EA would ever learn anything from anyone...and it's not Sony only, Bethesda,CDPR and a lot of other publisher are already out there that are pushing for single player games, if EA didn't learn back then why do anyone expects them to do so now? One would think they learnt from Battlefront controversy but nope, they're back with their usual self.
That doesn't mean anything. Just because the first game is not released on a platform doesn't mean it's sequel won't.
Here's some examples, Microsoft first party titles like Forza, gears, and upcoming halo are all on pc despite their prequels not releasing on pc. Nier automata is another example. Witcher 3 released on PS4 despite its prequels not appearing on playstation.
Since there will be online components I can deduce two things from this(based on GTA v experience), first that there might not be any single player story dlcs, and second that pc version is inevitable, take two won't miss the extra money to be made .
Don't worry, Sony has them covered on money and resources. As for multi platform it won't happen, as another comment already pointed out, an exclusive deal is already done.
P.S. With the crazy amount of copies getting sold on ps4 I don't think marvel would even think about any other platform.
This game changed my mind about Templars being the pure and simple villains. This was the point in assassins creed series where the typical black and white scenerio finally turned grey. I loved that. Easily best plot in the series. Plus that tomahawk gameplay? Absolutely brutal. Loved that too.

Neither is forza an exclusive....also didn't knew you could play sunset on pc...
Why o why
Hey man it's not me who's saying " Let's start with any exclusive that isn't Forza." (well forza itself is not exclusive if you go by the definition of what an exclusive is). All the above mentioned games indeed are Microsft games(sunset is actually an exclusive btw) so it's not ONLY forza as people keep saying.
Cuphead, ori, sunset, ryse, sea of thives, state of decay etc says hi. Unless you mean as highly rated as ps4 exclusives?
Pretty much. A 4/10 or lower score is reserved for broken games which Shadow is not. Maybe a 7 is acceptable even a 6 but 4? nope.
Actually those are only 36 reviews on PS4.
So only two extra review than the Xbox version and the score drops to 77.... something is wrong here.
Currently on metacritic,
It's 83 on Xbox based on 34 reviews.
It's 77 on PS4 based on 37 reviews.
Those extra 5 reviews must be very negative.
Is February the new Oct/Nov? Too many good looking games getting February release.
At first I thought it was CGI lol. Damn! it looks impressive.
Both.
Bethesda has developed only two games since 2011. Skyrim and fallout 4. The rest are only published by them. That is why you don't see the same level of bugs in these "other" Bethesda titles. They try to fool gamers by publishing some very good games here and there but let's not forget here that their games have always been unoptimized mess with sub-par graphics. One would expect them to have updated their graphics engine by now but nope Bethesda is quite happy in their own...
