Like tales of berseria, nier and upcoming ni no kuni 2 yeah ps4 has more exclusive that "aren't" coming to PC.
For 1 whole year it will be psvr exclusive.*sigh* it's same as rottr with Microsoft. But since it's Sony no one will be batting an eye.
70 to 80 % of games released on console are multi platform rest are exclusive. So I don't think Xbox is going to be irrelevant. And scorpio is going to perform better on third party games than ps4 pro.
However those who think that console should only be purchased for exclusive might think otherwise now.
P.S. What's this about with people these days who say Xbox exclusive are on PC so it's better to play on PC . I thought console people hated the complexity of PC&...
Quantity don't mean mean anything. Quality does. And as I said by the end of the year, as it always has been, this year won't be any different when I say only 3 or 4 exclusive will be great rest will be mediocre games that only get recognized because "exclusive".
And how many of these exclusives will be delayed to 2018? As were 2016 exclusives got delayed to 2017 previous year.
But I can see why so much hype is there. When there is no competition even mediocre games(most of them anyway excluding 2 or 3 titles) becomes great.
Exclusives are the flagship product of console gaming. Without them the console(and i'm talking about hardware not games)would not sell as much as they sell today. Also "fanboys", companies like Sony and microsoft have to cater to them.
That's a nice surprise. Didn't expect it from Ubisoft. Now if only the game could also deliver that would be splendid.
Congrats on the success. Capcom made resident evil great again. Now please Capcom make dmc great too.
when the games will specifically start to develop on scorpio then it will be considered next gen untill then it's just an upgrade whose potential will be wasted.
So what does ps4 pro does apart from bumping up the resolution? The main thing that should have been improved with all that power is fps but it's not improving, what is 30fps on ps4 remains 30 fps on pro too. So what's the point of all that power? Just because "4k"? And people do realise that increasing resolution doesn't increase graphics right? It just makes image more crisp nothing more.
Ps4 pro is a waste. And from the looks of it scorpio is also going to be...
Just be multi platform and noo exclusive shit.
Oh Blizzard *tsk*tsk*tsk*
Since it's namco bandai and seeing as they started porting console games to PC too starting with with dark souls back in 2012 this isn't surprising. And with the ever growing PC gaming market I'm sure more third party games that only ever releases on console are gonna come o PC eventually.
Maybe we'll see FF 15 announce on PC soon.
what would you expect from these people who think better resolution equals better graphics?
no games? you mean no exclusive right? still not a reason to not play on scorpio.
If this is true. Then I think console players should start preparing for another "upgrade" every 3-4 years in the future.Next will be Sony to outperform scoprio then microsoft will release another scorpiobox one to counter that and so on.
The thing with these "powerful consoles" like ps4 pro and upcoming scorpio is that they are there just for visual enhancement and more stable not better framerates(when instead they should focus on pushing 60 fps on AAA titles like Uncharted 4.)And the gameplay mechanics remains the same.
So unless games specifically begin to be develpoed on these powerful consoles all we are going to see are graphics patches.
It's the same like PC what does a PC version get as...
Everyone should ditch time exclusivity. If it's multi platform game it should be released at the same time so that all may enjoy at the same time.
The race to 4k already ended. PC won.
If you are that guy who buys console just to play exclusive and then play all muti plats on PC then yes Xbox does seem less desirable.
But if you are just a console player who don't even want their hands on PC gaming as most of console players are then no, Xbox or even even Scorpio is very well relevant.
