That was my favorite part also. I actually hated the naval stuff in AC3, so I went into black flag expecting to hate it. It ended up being my favorite game from the series.
Give me the land size of Unity and the Naval stuff from Black Flag and they will have my money day one.
If has the Naval stuff like black flag and enough land like most Assassin's Creed games I'll buy it day one. I loved Black Flag my only complaint is as much as I liked the Naval mechanics I feel there wasn't enough large land masses to make it feel like a true Assassin's Creed game.
I'm in the same boat. I guess I'm in a different demographic. I have large list of games in backlog already, not even counting the games I get this year I'm still going to have plenty of games to play on the scorpio.
No one had a problem when Sony took shots at when it came to resolution and used games. Now Microsoft takes shots and people want to cry. Those people should just go to their "safe zones".
I'm all for the scorpio. I plan on getting it day one. My only complaint is it hasn't come out sooner.
If they can manage a $400 I personally think that is not only good for Xbox fans, but Sony fans as well. Regardless what platform you prefer, competition is good for everyone. It makes the companies step up their game.
There is no doubt in my mind, if the Xbox One was selling better in comparison to the PS4 early in the generation there would be no 360 backwards compatibility on the Xbox One.
At the moment I don't give a shit. I didn't think Destiny was that great to begin with. I had no plans on getting Destiny 2 anyways so as it stands the exclusive content means nothing to me.
I can get with Uncharted and Last of Us it is why I have a PS4. Bloodborne and Street Fighter V I don't care about all. Hell I have a PS4 and didn't buy those games. No chance I would "kill" for those titles.
You can do the same about exclusives on the PS4. Fact of the matter if people are interested in them they'll buy the games and the system. I did buy XB1 and all those games because those are games interest me. But to be fair I also don't give a shit about games like Bloodborne, God of War, or The Last Guardian. The only exclusives that I care about are Uncharted and Last of Us, and I got a PS4 for them.

When 3rd parties stop putting their AAA games on the Xbox One then it could be considered a failed console. I don't see EA not releasing Madden on the xbox platform anytime soon. Doubt activision is not going to put Call of Duty and Destiny on the Xbox One this year.
The PS4 had barely any exclusives its first 3 years. They let 3rd party games dominate its lineup with a timed DLC. Now sony releases a good exclusive and now all of sudden exclusives are a big deal.
I think it will can be a success. It depends on what you consider a success. If 90+ million subscribers within 2-3 years is what is labeled a success then yeah it has no chance to reach that level. It took netflix nearly a decade to get to this level.
I think if after 2 years the xbox game pass has 500k+ subscribers and shows a steady growth quarter to quarter and year over year. I would think that is success.

Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. It definitely has my interest at the moment. I personally find this to a way better option then PSNow. At $10 a month depending on what games are available could a great value for me and my family since I can share those titles like regular games.
